Hi,

Can someone help me with the connections for the hands free car kit as I do not have the instructions for installation.

specifically, the power harness has 3 cables with fuses, red, orange and brown. What I need to know is what functions they are for , ie, one will be for power, another may be for charging and third for lights ???? or do I connect all of them via the switch?

My manual for the Samsung Hands-Free Kit shows the following:

Red - 12V Battery connection (always on)

Black - Ground

Orange - 12V ignition (on when key is on)
note - I moved mine to the 12V battery connection because I did not like the phone turning off when I shut the car off.

Brown - Stereo mute. Some car stereos may have a connection for this to mute the stereo if the phone is in use. Not required.
