Hey guys-while I am a newbie to this phone I am trying to take adnavtage of some of its features. While trying trying to set up voice dialing(I am trying to use hands-free so as not to always have to remove it from it's case) every time I utter the name I want the in-phone attendant tells me it is not recognizable. I have tried the name of my partner in several formats-Elizabeth, Liz, Beth...each time the phone will not recognize it as a name. Try holding the mic aout six inches away from your mouth when you record it, this worked for me.

VR software can be tough to train. Another tip is to sort of "sing-song" your recordings, vary your pitch like a radio announcer. And of course, it's difficult to speak in a "natural" voice when prompted - but try. Don't yell - doesn't help.

I just figured out that if I use my hands-free earpiece and mic instead of the handset it worked for 10 entries in a row, no hitches.

I only use one voice entry, I call it VOICE DIAL, and assign it to *, then let Sprint's voice recognition handle the dialing. Also helps when I have to reboot the phone. With the handsfree earbud, if I turn off my car radio, I get about 80% accuracy. With Sprint's voice Command I get almost 100% accuracy.

The only thing I hate is having to say YES loudly and at the right timing for their system to recognize it. Otherwise I love Voice Command.

agreed. sprints VC is great.

if you are still having issues, make sure the ambient noise is very quiet. if you are trying to have it id a voice tag and there is noise in the background, it wont work properly.
