WAP shortcuts possible (AIM)?

Has anyone figured out a way to streamline the process of using AIM in the WAP browser?

- It takes three clicks (not to mention waiting on the WAP browser to load after each click) to get to the AIM login screen. Is there a way turn a WAP bookmark (e.g. for AIM login screen) into an icon on the main Palm screen (desktop)?

- The AIM WAP client doesn't store your screen name and password when you sign off. Anyone found a workaround? The regular Palm text shortcut function doesn't seem to work.

Thanks for sharing any insights -

Yeah, I use the full AIM app for Palm in concert with the WAP version, which allows you to stay logged on all day without running up airtime charges, as Jesse and others say they do.

(Thus I probably should have posted under the original thread, which I had indeed read previously: http://www.sphi300.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1060)

Apologies -- I'm new to the group.

It's a real pain to switch between them, though:

Get IM alert from WAP -> Boot up SprintWeb WAP browser -> See who IM is from -> Back to desktop -> Launch real AIM app ->
