keyguard help

My keyguard got turned on (when i300 was in my pocket?) and now I cant unlock it.
I tried pressing the lock icon and tried a soft reset - no help - it is still locked.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

does it say *keyguard* at the top of the screen? and when you press on the lock (it IS locked right) do you hear a buzzing sound?
what did you do to lock it?

if a soft reset did not do the trick (it should have) then do a warm reset...

Thanks Mark-
Yes, it did say Keyguard and I did not hear a buzz. However, when trying to hear if there ws a buzz, I kept pressing various parts of the lock icon and finally got it to turn keyguard off.

I guess, like so many ohthers have reported inthis forum, the 'touch' points on each of these phones is slightly different.

Thanks for your help and the quick response.

You and the rest of the people so willing to help others are great and the dummies lke me appreciate your work.

Mike

Be sure to download Jake's MultiHack to circumvent this problem. Toggle keyguard with the voice memo button with the hack in place.

no dummies are allowed on this board! only enquiring minds..

if your screen touch points are not to your liking, you can use thew digitizer and adjust them to your tase.

when using the 6035, i would kinda tap slightly off center of the digitizer points to adjust to taste... maybe its something that could help you out..

dont eat to much tomorrow!
