When I first got my i300 and played with the contrast control, I had to settle for quite pastel colors. Anything more intense produced objectionable dark streaks in the 'white' part of the display.

While showing off this small miracle today, I tried the slider again. WOW!!! Much more contrast and color saturation, with NO streaks.
