Send a message via AIM to danjp

I read you post so I thought I'd try something like that. I tried to do a network sync to my computer using the modem and it connected, but then just froze at "Deteming Handheld Configuration".

Anybody else do this? Help......

When I first got the phone, I was able to synch over a LAN, but I used the Palm Network Synch, not port forwarding...

As I recall (it's been some time now), you have hotsynch running on both PC's. You setup your phone (I think) to synch to the IP where you want the data to be exchanged. There is also some config you need to do on the PC's, more than just indicating the Network Synch method.

Sorry I don't have all the details, but I know that it does work with the i300. Let me know if you can't get it to work, & I'll clear off some more dust and see what I can help with.
