Unable to use I300 as modem on compaq presario 2800 XP/home. Help!
folks,
I am trying to configure my I300 with my compaq Presario running XP Home edition, no 9 pin serial, I have to use an USB/Serial adapter cable. I know the adapter works since I successfully sync my Palm Desktop to the phone using it. When I tried to install the Sprint Dialup software and make a call it doesn't recognize the phone at all? I am succesful on my other laptop that runs Win2K Pro and has a 9 pin serial port.
Anyone have any suggestions?
