As of the last few several weeks, more and more calls are coming in and when I connect, either they can't hear me and I can hear them or the reverse, OR neither one of us can hear each other.

This happens on outgoing calls as well sometimes!

I set a Poll to see if anyone else is having this problem but no responses.

I'm not sure if it's the phone or Sprint (though I'd guess Sprint).

Any thoughts?

I can only imagine this has something to do with Sprint's system changes to 3G. Remember how others were having severely less battery life? Where are you located by the way. That information may help.

i have the same problem here sometimes. mostly outgoing calls, they can hear me but i can't hear them.

it seemed to start doing it when i installed fingerdial, but it's not doing it often enough that i can narrow it down for sure.


what apps do you have installed ?

I have very few apps installed.
Avant Go
No hacks at all
a few simple games
and Blazer 2.0

happens for about 15% of total calls.

i got the same problem every few calls, but i've had the problem since pre-i300 days, so it's not the phone...

I am also in Chicago, and having same type of problems. Also, my line would ring busy (when I am not even using the phone), or would get directly into my voice mail..

I have just learned these are problems that is related to SPRINT, and looking for another service to switch to..

Know any better one than Sprint (I guess anything would be better at this point)?
