we put a man on the moon, 30 years ago!
I just bought the i300 last week. I am amazed at how complicated the emailing/text messaging is...
i am using eudora.
i have a cable/roadrunner account. i can check mail, and send to other roadrunner users, but i can't send emails to anyone else. aparently roadrunner doesn't allow me to use their smpt account from the i300. which means that to reply to someone outside roadrunner, i have to go to a different program? do i have to get another email server?
also, my business partner just bought an i300. I want to be able to quickly text message him. it can't possibly be that i have to log onto the internet each time, can it? and i even have to compose it online too?
i lived in london for awhile and used a $60 mobile phone to text msg. it took one button to send the msg. that was civilized.
and yes, i did a search on this website to try and figure out how to do these basic procedures, and everything i found had about 10 steps to solve the problem. which isn't really solving the problem- which is that it is unbelievably inconvienent.
please tell me that i am missing something simple.
if this $500 phone can't even simply text msg the same $500 phone... anyone want to buy an i300?
