NO, NO, NO.. Don't you pay attention???
um.. i believe this issue has been spoken about so many times, i want to laugh. if you pay attention to details, you'll notice a search button which you can use to find the answers before you bother the board with another useless question...
oh.. and don't bother w/ the moderators.. they'll agree.. but becareful to speak up to them.... make sure you follow their rulz as well
"folks make mistakes and im no exception. but if you need to direct my attention again in the future, then PM me off the board and i will rectify the problem. "
and after they flame you and you flame them.. it's okay really.. cause
"its all good! no harm no foul... "
Don't forget,, this is a user discussion forum for the Sph-I300, an exciting place to talk about the phone we all have and topics noone has spoken about yet.. we already have the answers really and to beating a dead horse also takes up bandwidth, space, and our time...... just search for them!
But if you have a question, we'll be glad to help!

I'll post this in a new thread as well. A member just raised some points in a thread and I feel they may be more appropriate in their own lasting thread. Here is my response and I look forward to your remarks:
Thats funny Chris. I was going to hold my tongue but feel a response appropriate.
First of all, your concerns are not alien. We have been contacted by members on a 1 on 1 basis about the direction of the board and I'd like to think some things have changed. I can recall incidents with members in the past when I would go on a rant and they'd come right back at me.
You also raise a good point about the emphasis on the search tool/resource. You haven't been too attentive if you feel the moderators are the only ones recommending the searches. I'd say the moderators are far outnumbered in that regard. Lets clear this search tool "problem" up.
1.Many new and old members are unaware of the ability to run a search.
2.The value that you, I, and others find in this board is the exact reason why the search tool should be relied upon. That dialogue is invaluable. I call upon it quite often. Afterall, why should I want to wait for someone to feel like responding when I can get the info now.
3.New members who are referred to the search tool often reply with thanks and gratitude and are glad they found one more positive feature about the site. Other sites on the web lack the ability to search for information already discussed. If someone wants to refer someone to the "archives" thats fine. If someone wants to provide an immediate answer thats fine.
4.A more informative response/solution is often gained better by searching than relying on one response. Take the SMS thread for example. I referred the new member to a thread with 25 posts. Your response offered an answer with one sentence to an inquiry which has required such a lengthy discussion.
Now I do agree with you about an appropriate way to say and suggest things. Our board has seen moderators respond in poor taste just as we've seen other members do the same. Your mockery and sarcasm do nothing to rectify the problem for one.
To wrap it up, and I do hope more will chime in in a constructive manor, I am personally sorry to hear your opinions. As far as your revolution is concerned, you are free to say or suggest whatever you like. Don't make the mistake of thinking all of your fellow members submit to victomology however. I have received and continue to receive PM's and emails from members on a daily basis discussing problems with the board as well as thanks and appreciation. You nor I speak for everyone.
This is a public forum where all are free to take and contribute what they like. Just the same it is a public forum where all are free to join or leave at will.
I look forward to reading the thoughts of others.
