Angry Error message afer sync

I accidentally let my battery completely die on my phone... forgot to charge it for a while. So i lost all my info in the phone, which I thought I'd be okay cuz i sync'd everthing into the computer prior to the death... I had all kinds of programs and games installed...

So i attempted to sync the palm with the computer, and after the sync, the palm tells me I need to reboot.. understood.. It just reinstalled a bunch of programs, right? well.....

Upon reboot I get this ugly error message:
"FATAL ALERT DataMgr.c, Line:8589, Index out of range"
It has a littlereset button, but tping it dont work.. I order to restore order to this thing i hae to push the reset button as I pull the battery.,. then at least it lets me use the basic palm system...

So im guessin i need to sync without installing all the programs at the same time.. I tried to do a custom sync, but it still tried to install the software... I guess i need to uninstall the palm desktop, reinstall, nd install the apps one by one like i did the first time aorund... BAH..

anyone know of an easierway to do this, or mabe someone can tell me what the heck the error messag means...

Thanks...

I just had a really bad crash myself. Search for the "palm" folder on your hard drive. Open and click on your I300 folder. It'll be named the same as your I300 (mine is Orange for example). Click on backup. There is the treasure chest my friend. All of this info is synced back to your I300 and each needs to be installed individually to find the problem. I actually synced 4 or 5 at a time. I think a lot of the time the problem is remnants of old apps and hacks lefyt on the I300. Good luck and be patient.

REMOVE AIM!

IT's AIM! Do a WARM reset (Hold the UP button while resetting) then delete AIM in the usual manner. Reboot, then you will be okay.

This has got to be related to Daylight Saving Time. How else is it possible that this is happening to so many people all at once?

just to refresh your memory, the sprints WAP browser has AIM already in it.. its not as pretty as the downloadable one from the aol site, but it works, and it does not take up any more memory...

use the resources that are already at your fingertips...
