I am about to open my own criminal defense office with a partner. Are there any criminal defense lawyers out there using the i300? what software are you using? Has it been helpful? any drawbacks?

I'm a civil not criminal attorney, but you might want to browse pdajd.com, which is an attorney-specific Palm-related site. It has articles from practicing attorneys about how they use their Palms, and I've found it informative. Their documents section, for example, has several state criminal procedure rules available for download in Palm-readable formats. I highly recommend the i300, by the way; it is nearly perfect except for the lack of expansion.
