Does anybody know where to buy unterminated cables for the i300? I'd like to wire a Garmin GPS cable to try and use the new Quo Vadis software.

You can always buy the Samsung Data Cable, and cut the DB9 end off of it. That will also give you an idea as to what the pin outs are for the cabling, too.

This is probably something that you have already thought of, though, and were trying to avoid.

Yea, I was hoping somebody could point me in the direction of a generic cable maker that makes the Samsung compatible ends.

I have a Db9 male/male serial adapter I could send you that i made when I experimented with GPS it will connect the i300 data cable or docking cradle to the serial connection on an Earthmate GPS. however you will need the solus software for the PDA so you may still need to buy the Palm version.

Spokane - thanks for the offer but it wouldn't work with my Garmin GPS. I have an old Garmin <->PalmV cable that I was going to try and use. I will probably just end up using two cables, a Garmin<->Serial + Serial<->Samsung.
