Logo and Vibrate at the same time

Am I the only one here? If I have the logo enabled and have my phone set to vibrate, the logo disapears. I figured this happened for all but responses to my posting in the new logo hack message seem to make me think otherwise.

I am with you my friend. I can only see the very top portion of my logo when in vibrate.

With my i300 set to vibrate only...no logo appears..just the text VIBRATE with date and time...when a call comes in the caller ID info appears

With phone set to Max volume and vibrate...logo shows...when call comes in, the phone rings/vibrates and the display changes to show caller id info

Gotcha Tronnix...That's how mine is set...I thought there was new feature that allowed the phone to vibrate first then ring if you didn't answer :- )

ok, but

Vibrate and ring would surely work but what about us not-want-to-make-a-ruckus-with-your-phone people who prefer to just keep their phone only on vibrate without it ringing on the highest possible level? sol for now.

Another reason to use I300PictureCallerID

One of us needed to do this, so we thought we'll share this with everyone.

If you download a version of PCIDHelper.prc (the X-master component of I300PictureCallerID) from:

http://www.pdaapps.com/I300PictureCa...r_logohack.prc

you will be able to use Jake's logo hack and keep your phone on "Vibrate only" or on "Keyguard" without affecting your logo. This version of PCIDHelper does this and the regular I300PictureCallerID stuff. For more info on PictureCallerID visit www.pdaapps.com

Also, the logo-with-vibrate functionality is "free". This functionality will not expire even if after 15 days you do not activate I300PictureCallerID. Jake, if you'd rather put this in functionality in your logo hack, drop us a note at info@pdaapps.com and let us know.

Enjoy

PCID

I've downloaded the entire program (pretty cool, some major flaws -- would love to be able to link via phone book). Anyway, I don't see any options for doing this (logo hack on vibrate) through any PCID program, and I've looked. What should I do?

Perhaps out last message was a bit unclear.

PCIDHelper.prc in I300PictureCallerID.zip file as can be downloaded from www.pdaapps.com does not fix the vibrate-only + logo problem. However, if you replace the PCIDHelper in the zipfile with a special version of PCIDHelper.prc that is linked in our last post and use that version instead, then (if you are using logos and Jake's logo hack) the logo+vibrate problem is fixed if you have this PCIDHelper.prc enabled in X-master. No options to set.

I downloaded version 0.2 of I300PictureCallerID and I was surprised to see that the old version of the PCIDhelper was included. I had to find this thread again, download and install the version that enables the logo hack in vibrate mode.

I'm writing to PDAapps support (in case they don't see this message) to request they include the "improved" PCIDHelper as part of the new version download.
