It will be offered by Verizon around Christmas time. Sprint allows you to roam anywhere on their nationwide network with no roaming or long distance fees as long as you are on their network for the large majority of their plans. Verizon does not offer this (with the exception of their more expensive plans) but will not charge you for analog roaming in your home area, which Sprint does. If you stay mainly in large metropolitan areas, go with Sprint. If you find yourself in rural areas often where there is only analog coverage, wait for Verizon to offer the phone.
