he has a couple for sale, is it just a wrong pic?? does anybody have any experience with him? If anything buyers beware unless there is some positive feedback from anybody.

Thumbs up Leather Case

I found this case from a guy on ebay. He sells them for $15.00 each.
They are leather with a clear plastic front. There is on opening on the top flap for the LCD and all side feature buttons are open.

The belt clip doesn't swivel but is fixed.

It's not a bad case for the money. He will also have car chargers.
I don't know the price on these.
He mailed the case out to me in Canada and I got it in just over a week.

He is a great guy who said you guys and gals can contact him for pictures and pricing.

Daniel Williams [discountwireless@yahoo.com]

Hope this may help.

I am pretty sure that that is the Belkin case for our phone. It's retail price is $14.99.

BTW I have been using the Belkin charger for a few days and it seems to be charging the phone. Have not used it for longer than about an hour or so.

Lightbulb Found a Nice Leather Case

I noticed that there seems to be a lot of attention given to accessories for the i300. I bought mine right when they were released, and I have to say that it has been amazing that such a popular phone didn't come out with at least some of the most common accessories.
My biggest concern has been trying to find a leather case - I'm getting tired of carrying it around by hand, or dropping it in my pocket, so I've been really searching for a nice case that I can attach to my hip. All I had been finding lines up with what I have seen even in the forums I found here - cases that are basically pouches that cover up the entire phone, or an aftermarket case for another phone altogether.
I finally think I've found what I've been looking for - a case that's made specifically for the i300, that allows you to use the phone while it's in it. I'm pretty sure that the clear plastic cover that goes over the screen might take some getting used to as far as the stylus goes, but this is the most promising one I've seen so far. And the price is great too! It's under $10, and only about $15 with shipping included! Check it out at :
http://www.cellularaccessory.com/sphi300cases.html
and please let me know what y'all think. When I recieve it in a few days, I'll be sure to post my opinion here.

Tim, to be honest I'd be worried about using the stylus with a clear plastic cover over the screen. I think you'll have big problems with the digitizer, which you allude to in your post. This is why I haven't bought this style of case before.

I have no experience at all with this style of case, but you asked what people thought, so there's my two cents.

Report back on how you like the case!

I have a similiar case with the face cut out (no plastic cover) and holes cut for all the buttons, even the infrared. The only concern I have with the case is that when attached to your hip the phone faces outward making the screen vulnerable to bumps and scratches and the top LCD is upside-down. So far no company has improved on this design, but think it is by far the best case for the phone and I look for improvements soon.

Here is my first attempt at inserting an image so it it all blows up, keep in mind that I am a rookie!

Well that isn't really what I wanted to do. I have the image saved on my computer but I don't know how to upload the image into my post. O well, hope that links helps!

Lightbulb Try the E&B Case

I have bought and love the case made specifically for the I300 by E&B Cases. I believe it's just what you're looking for.
It's leather, has all the holes cut out for the buttons, and the flap protects the screen. It's a tad pricey, but I think well worth it. Check out the many threads on E&B cases and you'll see what others think. Here's the link to E&B cases. You'll find the case on their site

www.ebcases.com

Hope that helps,
Laurie

LAURIE!

That looks like exactly what I am looking for....I think...

It is hard for me to tell from the pic. The case with the clip, does it allow the top LCD display to be read rightside up when attached to the hip?

Thanks again!

ooooooooooooo, so close!

I just got off the phone with E&B and this case holds the phone with the screen facing out so that when attached to the belt the top LCD is still UPSIDE-DOWN.....ARRRRRRRRGH!

O well, for those that don't really care about the top LCD and want a case that protects the main screen, this case definitely looks superior to all others that are out there.

Thanks for sharing, Laurie

Most people tend to dislike that one. It is worth the money to buy the eb case. Where in this case it was actually cheaper to buy the eb case ($45 rather then $50) then to bid on the sprint case, or you can just buy the sprint one from the store for about $25.

You know sometimes eBay brings out the suckers in the world. Best Buy has this case for a lot less. I saw it yesterday for around $25 also. (If you don't want to hike to the Sprint store or order online, you can also see it in person)

Exclamation Rhino Skin...

Does anyone know of any Rhino Skin case out on the market...or any metal case out there...I would love to have something alittle more flashy and classy...let me know...also I'm pretty sure we could do like a group request at Rhino so they could maybe make one if they knew the demand out there!!!!

I don't know friend. I've tried to use that leverage and have been dissappointed by the results. I've contacted quite a number of companies about the drought of accessories for the I300 and even with, say, the GPS poll here as evidence of demand, they are reluctant. Samsung isn't helping by changing the design of the new I330. One person I spoke with indicated that he would need to sell roughly 50,000 units to break even. Its definately worth a shot. I'm in. We must realize though, that there still are relatively few I300s on the street.

Its Funny...

I think its funny how well put together is phone really is...with nothing that I can find that even in the near future is built as well other then maybe the I330 looming in the wings...and still everyone one is dragging there feet on accessories and usb cables, everthing...especially sprint and samsung..but I still thank samsung..I have been in love with their phones since the 3500 and my fav cell phone to this date has to be my older 8500, I just hope it doesnt take them a year like the older phones to really start supplying good accessores...
