Samsung Today 2 - FINALLY WORKING ON SAGA

After months of trying to get the Samsung Today 2 plugin to work on my Saga.....I finally got it.!!!!

The Omnia version does not display correctly, so what I did was use the dll file from the Epix, which works flawlessly. Download the cab file HERE.

ENJOY!

Whoa, that's pretty cool. I didn't know about this plugin. So far, so good on my Saga. Thanks, dremot!

I'm really digging this new home screen plugin. Simple, smooth, and functional. A big improvement over the other two options from Samsung that came stock.

One question, is there a way to turn off the sound when switching pages, or to tinker with any other settings for that matter?

Thanks again for sharing this!

Where did you find the file? Does it add the Calendar to the Today screen?

The link to the file is in the original post.

There are four "pages" in this plug-in. The Home page does display your next appointment. Clicking on that will take you to your default calendar program.

I must be missing something. There's only Five posts in this thread and no links. I've searched a bit, but my search-fu must be off as I can't find the original thread. Anyone have a link?

Thanks a lot! It's pretty much just what I was looking for, although I do miss the voice mail notification icon. Something strange has happened though; after working normally for a week it now displays my upcoming calendar appointment in 24 hour time. It's in normal time in Pocket Outlook and my clock is set to 12 hour time, but the Today screen shows 24 hour time. Any ideas?

Mine has displayed in 24-hour time since I installed it... would like to switch it to 12-hour time though

Start > Settings > Today > Items > Check the box next to Samsung Today and then tap ok
**Note: Samsung Today wants to be the only plugin enabled on your today screen. It will automatically disable all of the other plugins

Anyone know where to find the file for the "whooshing" sound?

If we knew the name or location of the file that makes the whooshing sound it could be replaced with a quieter one, or a silent one. Any ideas?
