Saga much more stable w/ S2U2 v2.04?

I had tried S2U2 right a few versions ago and was having issues with the phone freezing and not allowing me to answer calls so I completely removed it from my phone. Yesterday morning I decided to give the latest version a try since I still have issues with the phone randomly waking up in my pocket for now apparent reason.

So far in a day and a half worth of use, I've notice my battery life has significantly increase and so far I have not had a dropped call like I have been w/o S2U2 installed. Has anyone else noticed better phone performance with S2U2 installed or have I just been lucky since the install?

v2.04 is a lot more user friendly than the previous versions I tried, v1.43 and 1.65 I think. Instead of one long string of options, they are broken down into categories that require minimal scrolling to view and modify.

I found 2.04 to work better with the Saga

2.04 works very well, only issue I saw was that the screen locks up when you have a caller id pic stored on the storage card and the storage card is missing or not recognized by the device. not a big deal really, once you know whats causing the freeze you just pop the card in and out and its fixed (which you'd have to do anyway to access any data on the card.)

As for the better battery life, could it be that you have S2U2 set to power down the phone after a shorter interval that the windows settings you had previously set up? That would explain it. Just a thought.

Define "power down". I put it to sleep via the power button after every use. Is there more to it than that? S2U2 is set to whatever its defaults are so if that's the case, then it is much more efficient than Windows factory settings.

Normally I pull the phone off the charger at 5:30-6am and I'll make it until 8-9pm before it's critically low. Yesterday I was still at 30% at 9pm with average (for me) usage on the standard battery. I will watch this for a while to see if the past couple days have been flukes or if it truly is getting better battery life. So far zero dropped calls since the install too. 2 issues that magically fix themselves is too much to be coincidence, IMO...
