So has anyone done a Mulit-FRU replacement or had to deal with the rest of this?
I have been unhappy with this phone. Aside from the nonexistent signal, the locking issues, the random soft resets and lagginess of the phone have left a really sour tast in my mouth. So I am currently on my third Saga. After calling up with the same complaints I told the very nice customer service rep that I wanted out of my contract and didn't want to pay the ETF. So she told me to do the 2 following things:
To go to my local Verizon store and request a replacement phone, of my choice, under the multi-fru program. But then she says that they may not want to do it. So I may need to go to more than one store. Ok but who pays for my time and aggravation when I have to drive all over creation to find a manager that is willing to do this?
And second was to record where I lose signal and call tech. services and tell them of the physical addresses so they can start an investigation. If they find out there is nothing that they can do then they will let me out of my contract. But there isn't any way to know how long this will take. So I could pay for another couple of months for a phone that I can't use while they "might" be able to do something. But it isn't like they are going to put up a tower where I am going losing signal.
So has anyone heard of this or gone through this?
