I'm Ok with the saga at the moment but before playing with WM phones I had like 5 different
Palm os phones and loved 'em all.
So I'm looking forward to the pre's cousin (aka eos or pixie) that verizon has said they plan to be getting around the beginning of 2010. Treo/Centro/Saga- like form factor with WebOS and hopefully many of the first generation growing pains kicked to the curb.
WM really is a pain in the rear no matter what based on the 3 different devices I've had with it. It's just doesn't work without piles of tweaking or 3rd party apps, or resets, and a lot of patience. I've got my saga working "good enough" with the current firmware and a handfull of 3rd party apps but i do long for the
Palm- it just works aspect of things. Apparently blackberries are the same, but their push email service isn't the thing for my business. Hopefully the WebOS is as "it just works" as the
Palm os but with all the bells and whistles of a modern os.
I've been paying attention to precentral.net and seems there's some growing pains with the Pre but nothing that wont get worked out in time- and
Palm really seams to be updating the device fairly quickly to address the shortcomings in a rapid manner.
