Losing broadband connect (#777) settings

I switch back and forth from GSM to CDMA throughout the day, and a wierd thing happens on occasion. When switching from GSM to CDMA, I will loose the ability to choose broadband access from the connection settings. Instead, it is replaced by "VzW Email" which has way different settings, and won't connect. Sometimes a soft reset won't even return the #777 option the first time. I'm gonna look online for the settings and manually enter the connection since I never have lost my GPRS settings that I entered manually, but if anyone has heard of this let me know!

Same things happens to me. This update in junk! I've complained to Verizon. They tell me to reflash the phone. However the software will not let you reflash the phone because it says you already have the update installed.

Anyone know if I can downgrade?

This phone has gotten me so frustrated! I'm fixn an Iphone......

I haven't installed the update, and probably never will because of all the negativity I've seen. My phone just decided it didn't want to connect to #777, it took four soft-resets before it would connect! First time this has ever happened to me, but definitely not the first problem I've had.

As of this point in time I've never switched to GSM. I just went to check my emails and it wouldn't connect.

What do I need to do to keep/save the settings?

I got mine for $150. If you spent $300 on this phone, I'd like to apologize for you having far too much money to spend on a phone.
