I figured out how to get mp3s sent to the phone to use as ringtones for incoming calls. However, there if you select sounds and notifications for text messages, only alarms and alerts are there. Is there a way to get current hits so that I can have a decent "new text message notification" sound?

I think the sound files for ringtones are located in the "Windows" directory. Copy/move the mp3 you want to use to that folder and it should show up as a ringtone selection.
