Logmein not working after update

Anyone else user logmein for remote control form their Saga? It seems to be broken after the update.

The app installs from the browser, but it won't launch when trying to remote control a machine.

Can anyone verify that it does or does not work after updating the phone firmware?

Thanks

Logmein now does not work. Several internet items seem to have been broken. Unable to connet to WindowsUpdate or GoodMessaging. Surfing is erratic with many connecting #777 popups.

Same issue after ROM update

It goes through the whole thing, and gets to the actual remote control and is now a white screen for me. I tried using the Desktop setting as well, with no luck...

After some research, it appears that the following information is true, for logmein for PDA:

You must use Windows Mobile 6.0 It will not work with 6.1.4 or 6.1.5
You also must use Pocket Internet Explorer 6.0 It will not work with I.E. 6 Mobile which is the latest version.

what type of PC are you trying to connect to?

you can use remote desktop for xp or vista business, vista ultimate, or with a hack some of the other versions of xp or vista will do it. If you are lucky enough to be on a machine that can do that then It works pretty well. I was using VNC but once i got remote desktop hacked and working it's actually better i think.

I had to pick up a pre-upgrade handset on ebay to get logmein working along with other websites that I use day-to-day.

Worst software upgrade ever...

Yeah, it's a real deal-killer. I really like the Saga, and wish that I had not updated the ROM - ugh. I guess it's true, "if it's not broke, don't fix it!"

I am hoping logmein has a fix coming for this soon...

Doesn’t’ help you guys in the mean time but I’d guess logmein has to redo their stuff to accommodate the new browser MS is stuffing on all the roms. As more and more phones get maintenance releases or come out with fresher versions of WM then fewer and fewer will work with logmein. Do they have a forum or something where you can get more info?
Yet another example of MS screwing all the web developers every time they release a new browser. I thought it was just the desktop browsers but now it looks like they are screwing people with “updates” to their mobile browser too.
