I see this thread is pretty old. Has there been a clear answer as to weather we will be charged for MMS messages if we have the unlimited text, picture, video plan?

I understand if we surf the web while EVDO/BBA is active it will charge for the data, I just want to know about the charge for sending or receiving pics and vids?

Thanks!

Secondly, sfay93 the disconnect was there right from the beginning on my 760, you just have to click on the left icon to get it (the right has the two arrows and the left is the EV symbol). Sometimes I clicked the wrong one and wondered why it was missing.

No, if you have unlimited text and picture then you are NOT charged for the data used to send and receive the picture. I know because this is the exact position I am in, I had Pay-Per-Usage, and unlimited text/picture and I do not get charged for it.

Thanks for a clear cut answer. I was confused by the multiple topics that have been developed here.

I called verizon and had asked them, If i erased my verizon broadband connection(the *777) that would i still be charged for data and i didnt get an answer! All i got was a rude woman telling me That Voids Your Warranty!! I said what does that matter i can hard reset the phone and it will be back...That voids your warranty that doesnt matter. Was this woman being serious or just a woman? i hung up on her i was jacked so i didnt even get a answer to my real question she threw me off.

Just thought I would make sure there is no real solution to this right? I changed my #777 to #776 so it can't connect on it's own and changed my MMS settings to notify me of the message but not to automatically connect. This works fine and all, but maybe I'm just lazy and think it is a pain to go to start> settings> connections tab> connections> manage existing connections> edit> next> replace the 6 with a 7> next> finish> close> close> close> then retrieve the picture message. Is there any way that the "magic button" program could do this for me?
