Phone not recognized by Vista and MD Center 6.1

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone had this issue, my phone when connected to my pc I get an message in my pc that the phone isn't recognized. Or USB Device not recognized.

Any help?

Go to Settings/Connections/USB to PC and shut off advanced data functionality. Some people have needed to do this. I didn't for some reason, Maybe because I don't use Windows Firewall.
