Wierd problem...

So I got the phone yesterday, and have it mostly customized the way I had the 730, and I have to copy some files from the i730's SD card to the 760's microSD. You would think I could put the SD in a usb adapter (shows up as drive D: ) and copy whatever I want to the 760's storage card that I see when I select "explore" in activesync. However, I am unable to drag from one to the other, like I could do with the 730. WHen hovering over the files I just see the universal "can't do it" symbol like the "do not enter signs have. I can create folders, delete them, delete files, but not copy anything to the device. I setup the file syncing and files I add to the folder buried in c:\docu~..... do not copy.
I was able to copy one file, it was in a zip, and it warned me about converting it. Is it because of this converting nonsense??? This seems unnecessary to me since I can move the files from SD to HD, put the microSD in the adapter and move the files from HD to miniHD, without any conversion crap nonsense and everything works. Is this some new pain in the a55 feature of WM 2006, just to properly convert excel files????? Why do all the improvements to these devices have to be accompanied by unimprovements???

Hi, I suspect is your usb adaptor/reader because I did exactly what you want to do, I put my new Micro SD card into the Mini SD adaptor and then put it into one multi-card reader, then put my old SD card into another reader (actually my photo printer with multi-card reader) and then just copy and pasted the files.

Actually I only have 1 adapter, so I wanted to use the phone to access the microSD and use the adapter for the other card. It seems now I can do it if I don't click "folders" when exploring the device, and I can copy from 1 window to the other, but NOT from folder to folder in the same window. I think this used to work with the 730.
