This holster fits great. Works well with the primary battery, not the extended, when using with the face out. It came via 1st class mail with the 99 cents shipping. Thinking about getting a spare, just in case while they are still cheap.
This thread should have a Poll on the Broken Clips.
Starting with
Not Broken.
Broken in box without opening
Broken while removing from the packaging
Broken while putting on Belt.
Need i go any further?
Good idea, added poll...

same here, was broken when i got it, there sending me another but i dont feel like i can trust it after seeing so many people here getting a broken one. I'm just glad my phone wasn't in it
I visited my local VZW store this afternoon, to look at the "universal" case that was mentioned in another thread. I was trying out various cases, when a CSR came over and asked if I needed help. I explained that I was looking for a case for my i760, which I showed her, and immediately found myself surrounded by several other VZW employees who proceeded to "ooh" and "ahh" over my phone! She then announced that she thought that they had cases for the phone in stock and went into the back to get one.
Well, it turned out that she was mistaken about the case, but she brought out a holster for me to try. I asked if it was the one that everyone was having trouble with, but she didn't know what I was talking about. I explained the problems which have been reported here, but she remarked that it looked like a sturdy holster to her, and encouraged me to try it with my phone.
As she watched, I pressed on the belt clip, and *PING*, the clip popped off, with the spring flying in one direction, the clip in another, and bits of plastic in yet another! One of the brackets that is supposed to hold the clip's axle had broken off, and the other one was damaged. Stunned, I remarked, "I guess it is the same one that I've read about!" Total time from opening the package to disaster... less than 15 seconds!
I asked, "I suppose I just bought that?", but was surprised when she said, "No... I guess it is defective. I need to show this to my manager."
So, I wound up buying one of the Naztec leather cases they had in-store. The case isn't shown on the Naztech site, but is black with a cream lining and a non-swivel belt clip; the Sahara model is the closest match in terms of form factor, and I'm pretty pleased with it so far. It was marked for $29.99, but they said I was eligible for a discount, so I wound up paying $18.74 (?). I haven't had any problems with the magnetic closure (I prefer to use the case with the screen facing in), and it fits the i760 almost as if it was designed for it. The VZW stock code for the "Universal PDA Carrying Puch" is PDASDPCH4.
That is FUNNY. Now "IF" I were a really mean person I would suggest we all take our i760 and ask to try out the holsters also and take a poll on how many break...but I would never do that...
I went to Verizon with my Grandmother on Saturday and all the employees surrounded me wanting to see my phone when someone asked if I needed an upgrade, and I told him "Nope after 10 months of waiting you all finally released the phone I wanted and I got it on the 20th." Once I showed him, only one person in the store had seen information on it (from here on PDAPhoneHome no less). He asked what my username was, and when I told him he was like "no way...". I thought that was funny, as that was the guy helping my grandmother. He gave her 25% off the phone on top of what she was already getting. I felt rather "Fight Clubish"...
I mentioned the same thing to the manager of the store to send back all the belt clips, that they were junk. He said that he had actually heard that from one of the managers at another store. Hopefully they won't be selling them, because I would hate to see someone damage their precious new i760...

You are a real celebrity now. Maybe you can start autographing i760s in stores!
Sure, give me a sharpie, and I will sign your screen...

If your setup guides and tools are as good for the i760 as everyone has said they are for the i730, I might let you. (Glad I got two screen protectors).
These in-store clip tests are pretty funny and are probably a good public service, if it alerts enough people to protect some unwitting non-pdaph users. I would have been pretty upset to have my brand-new phone hit the pavement because of a broken belt clip.
I wish I could vote more than once. I ordered two and received them last Wednesday. By Friday the first one was broken so I pulled out the other one and it was broken in the packaging. On Saturday I went to the closest Verizon store and asked if they had any of them in stock. They had one and traded me for the first broken one. They checked the other local stores and there was only one other store in the area that had any and they only had one. The CS gal called them and had them hold it for me. By the time I got to the second store the new one from the first store was broken. 0 for 3 so far...wonderful odds. It is now Monday afternoon and I am still using the 4th case...knock on wood. I'll try the case Mark showed the link for.
Stopped by the Burlington VT store today. Pre-release, they had 3 in stock, the first busted when I got in the car, the second when they were checking to see if it was OK, and the third on my way home. Cleaned out their inventory. They must be relieved, since the big bucks customers wouldn't be impressed.
If I were Samsung, I would be embarrassed to have my company name stamped on the back of this poorly manufactured device. It reminds me of the days as a kid when the Japanese produced items would break up first use. Whoever procured this manufacturer/order for Verizon should be fired. When you look at the thin piece of plastic that breaks it is obvious no one took a serious look at design and correlated with desired function. My Motorola holders lasted 2 years or more before similar breakage, and the type and thickness of the plastic used is quite different.
Cost of manufacturer for this can't be more than 30 cents, for the correct device probably 75 cents. They charged 20 bucks. Greed and stupidity at it finest.

I went to verizon store and asked them to let me see one, because my other was broke when i got it. I took it out and messed with the clip and it work fine so i bought it for 14.00 and for the last 10 hrs its held up.
You are right. I should recognized a losing proposition. I had my step-daughter with me from my 3rd ex-wife, and they were trying to prove to me that the 3rd one was working ok. I guess I am a hopeless romantic who was overtired and doesn't learn from experience..the perfect consumer.
