I personally Test Cell Phone For Qualcomm and until I deleted the profiles for our office Moto & Samsung Headsets everytime I shut off my Jabra 3030 to connect to my Bluetooth speakers in my office the Bluetooth headsets in the lab would grab my phone before I could even power on my speakers
Well lucky you. The rest of us around here obviously don't have your luck. Go buy a lottery ticket or somethin.
WM 6.1 is out. Go to that sticky thread post 265 for the manual, post 275 for the DL's. Read the remaining posts for more important hints. Hopefully this issue will be fixed now. Anxiously awaiting reports as to if it is...

The issue is with two headsets or two headset profiled devices, of which your speakers are assuredly not.
Can anyone else besides me confirm that they did not fix the connection issue with the 6.1 upgrade? I am hoping I have a bad download and this is really fixed and all I need to do is a reflash.
I changed from a Plantronics Voyager 520, which had poor connectivity most of the time, to a Jabra BT8040 and I seldom have to go in and re-chk the box anymore.
With the Plantronics BT, any time I went out of range of my phone (10 to 15 feet), I had to re-chk the box. With the Jabra, I can go 30+ feet and return with no problem. If I stay out of range for too long, I do then have to re-chk the box.

While the trouble you describe is good to know, it is not the problem we are having. If you needed to go between the Voyager 520 and the BT8040, that would cause the problem. Staying with one or the other should not be a problem.

I paired with the bt in both of my vehicles. I am sorry to report that with the 6.1 update, it still will not automatically switch between them. It will only automatically reconnect to the last used connection. I have to go into the bt settings and manually change over to the other car.

It looks like you and I are the only ones that have tried it so far and we both have the same result. That is a real shame that they did not fix this issue.
I think Samsung thinks this is the way it should work. They have other devices that do the same thing. They are the only ones who like this. I doubt This is my third try (700, 730, 760) with Samsung PDAs and it will be my last.

You are right about two things. 1. It worked on the 730, but other things that should have did not. and 2. the iPhone is not a Samsung.

Doesn't work for me. Tried with my Nissan Titan, and my Jawbone. Have to manually change them.
Has anyone successfully paired an i760 with a Chrysler MyGig system. It says it pairs and I can make calls but when you hit the button to answer an incoming call, it hangs up the call. I love the phone but...if I cant use it in the car, back it goes. My return time is running out.

I have the UConnect for my Dodge Caliber. Before the 6.1 upgrade I had all kinds of weird problems with pairing/usage. Now that I have 6.1, all is good, including hangup/answer. Did you install 6.1 yet?

I am glad to hear your UConnect problems are fixed. I paired mine but have not used it yet to see if the hang up issues were resolved. It sounds like it is.

The biggest problem I ran into pre-6.1 was that I would be driving along and then all of a sudden my radio would go into phone mode - even though there was no call. If I hit the UConnect talk button, it would bring me to the phone screen, and if i hit it again it would redial the last number. So what I had to do was hit the talk button once, then hit the END button on the phone (bringing it back to the today screen). Once at the Today screen, I would hit the talk button on the UConnect again (it would respond with "Call Ended") and it would return to the radio. It did this often, to the point I stopped using it (knowing there was "some" kind of patch/fix coming). Now it works like a charm. But still no auto-switching devices like my 730 did.
