Where can I find the MAC address?

I've been looking throughout all the settings, and I can't find where the wifi's MAC address is located/displayed. In my previous WM6 phone, I could go to settings->connections->wifi->advanced, but advanced is not in the i760 (or at least not that I can see).

Anyone know where I can look it up?

On the 730, its inside the case behind the battery. Haven't checked mine, but you might find it there on the 760.

You use a dial code, on the phone app, dial

#4357*

That will bring up the phone information, including the MAC addresses...

After the Windows Mobile 6.1 update, #4357* no longer works on my phone. Any suggested alternative ways to locate the MAC?

On my i760 (just updated to WM6.1) that screen shows an IP address (in hex) but I don't see the hardware MAC address on that screen.

Any other ideas?

Here's an option:
Find WIFI MAC address - 4WinMobile.com

Of course, this assumes you are already on the network...

jpinsl - jeezz...thank god i'm not the only one. 6.1 was pre-loaded on my 2-week old phone (or maybe not).

But, I was going crazy getting the WiFi working....ended up turning off my MAC filtering on my router, connecting my phone to my net, then finding it on the router log. sucks, because all that other info on that dial code is 'missing' and because it was extremely frustrating. GL.
