Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't a secondary function of dialparser setting the data connection dormant if you tried to make or receive a call while the data connection was active?
Is this an issue on the i760 as it was on the i730?
Dialparser was always #2 or #3 install after a hard reset on my i730, I can't seem to find any mention of this being an issue and can't believe no one else has asked yet.
*EDIT* As I read my post I remember that the EVDO upgrade helped with the inbound calls while active data connections were taking place. but I also know from recent hard resets that not installing dialpasrer lead to "Operation failed" messages

Correct on your edit. Remember the DialParser essentially does as it's name says, it take what you type looks at it and parses it on. So if you type one of the previous codes, it either calls a program to run, or sends the call to start a dial. So with SD's dialparser (which was a re-write of the dialparser on the phone), although he can explain in far greater detail, it had some of the dial codes still in it, but when you dialed your device, it would deactivate the EVDO/1x connection and then allow the call to go through, because without it you would get the "Operation Failed" messages because the phone was trying to dial data at the same time as phone, so it would fail, and your data would continue to connect.
I have yet to see any issues with dialing on this phone....

**2288379 - Phone accepts code, but nothing happens.
**492743 - Hybrid, EVDO only, or 1X only options
**6738378 - 1Khz mp3 test
**8378 - Chick pleaser on or off. (Vibrator on or off)

It would have made more sense for me to have documented these exactly BEFORE doing a Factory reset using one of the codes, I'll repeat the NVrebuild again and I'll be able to access them....I hope.

Am I retarded?? I use MAC filtering on my networks and other networks require the address to connect to WiFi. I surfed over and found these dial code lists, but the only ones that really work on my phone are:
**33284 - Signal/Status Monitor - Enter Code 000000
**772 - Service Mode - Enter Code 000000
Am I doing something wrong? Is there a different way to find the MAC addresses?

I just tried **492743 but it did not connect on it's own like **772 did, and when I pressed the action button it dialed but returned a "your feature update could not be completed." Can someone guide this newb through the process? I can't receive EVDO on my i760 and was hoping that this command might provide the answer to this issue. Thanks.
Ok I just bought a samsun I760 and the code #4357* does't work what should I do and I want to flash the phone to cricket any suggestions??

marcoderm - the only way i could get my MAC address was to use the remove router filtering, connect the phone to the net, read the router log method. the dial codes don't seem to be working for the newer phones.
