Case pics!

Here are some pics of the i760 with the Bravo case. The style is H5 and I think the color is coffee.

Since I cant have a car like Brass, I figured I could at least get a i760 and Holster like him.

Although I had an old BMW K1 many years ago.

Michael if you can do this...I am completely on board....whatever we can do to make it happen...I even thought of buying some dummy i760's and making my own mold...and making my own cases...but going your route would be easier!!

Belt loop not clip

Having been the victim of my i730 crashing off my pants in its form fitting case with a belt CLIP, I am loathe to get the Brava (which otherwise looks great, as does the sahara).

Anyone know of a form fitting case, horizontal, for the i760 that has a belt LOOP, not a clip? checked EB cases, I have their i730 case....nada.

???

I've mentioned this many times in the 730 forum. Treo cases fit Great. I just purchased this one a couple months ago. It was a little tight until my 730 stretched it a bit so I'm thinking it will fit the 760 very well.
E&B Company Copilot Case >> Treo Side Pouches >> Treo Cases >> TreoCentral Store
Before this pouch I used the model below. Only problem I had was it seems to not be constructed as well as the one above. The belt clip is very tight but it eventually wears the leather off it and will start digging in to your belt.
Smartphone Experts P6 Pouch Case >> Treo Side Pouches >> Treo Cases >> TreoCentral Store
If you like horizontal belt pouches that fit in tight and won't get caught on things when you walk by you will like these. The E&B copilot probably won't fit very well with the extended battery but the P6 fits it just fine.

UPDATE:
The E&B Case is just a little to short since the 760 is taller than that 730. It's to tight to easily pry out. The P6 case fits very well.

I totally agree.. I always pocket my 730 and I busted the belt clip off long ago. It would be really great if the cover would snap off the fron and then fit on the back of the unit when you are using it. That way you wouldnt have to keep track of it.

If anyone can engineer a snap-on hard cover for the front of the i760, I'm totally on-board, and would happily pay in the $20 to $25 range for one. I'd Dremeled off the mount on an i730 belt holster as a pocket cover for my i730 and that was a great solution. The lack of a convenient way to carry it in the pocket is my biggest gripe with the i760.

I am having lunch with a friend who works in a small machining/engineering shop tomorrow and I am going to see what he thinks he could work up. I don't have the 760 yet but I figure I will show him the 730 holster and see if he thinks he can cook up something similar but to the specs for the 760.

Which one do you like better? The "Bravo" or the "Boa"

I prefer a holster like the i730 has. It's low profile, protects the phone and allows easy access to the phone. I really hope something similar is released. (That doesn't break easily)

As far as pouch types go, I have a great neoprene case from Op/Tech USA. Fits snug, low profile with a belt clip. I actually have Op/Tech cases for all my gadgets, Digital cameras and such. Great cases.

I'm also hoping there will be a Pro Clip car mount soon. I could always rig one up from the crappy Verizon holster but really like the Pro Clip products.

Mike, if you've got a ProClip for an i730, you'll find it works pretty well with the i760. It's not a perfect fit, but you certainly can get by using it.

I sent the boa back, I just couldnt justify two cases! Also, the boa seemed/was bigger. There was more "play" when the phone was inside. the bravo seems virtually custom-fit!

so, to answer your question, I guess I'd say I like the looks of the boa better, but the size of the bravo! ...hows the new sled?

I'm kinda disappointed in the i760 case options that we have at this point. I hope some new ones start to appear soon.

This "holster" looks promising, I am just not real clear from the picture how it works.

It looks like there is some sort of clear cover for the device but the description is vague.

Hmm...didn't even think of trying that. I should have read your post before I ordered the holster from Verizon, which I did about 10 minutes ago. I was going to just take off the clip from the Verizon holster and drill some holes to mount it to the Pro Clips base.

Just so everyone knows - you can be absolutely certain that the feedback regarding the crappy VZW plastic holster is true!!!

I took mine out of the package, put the phone in, went to clip it onto my belt and the whole holster and phone hit the ground (luckily on carpet)!! I thought I missed my belt loop as I've done a few times in the past with the 730 but when I looked, the clip was destroyed.

Whatever lead laden junky plastic they used to make these things in China isn't strong enough to hold the pin. As soon as you press on the clip the molded plastic that holds the pin almost melts away.

I can not even begin to describe how bad a setup this is.

Even if you are thinking about buying one just to have until you come up with another option I would caution you to not even try it!! I would be surprised if you get 1 use out of it - I didn't even get that.

Just wanted to make sure folks knew that.

Jay
