Back on topic, I'm temporarily using a generic vertical leather pouch that I bought from VZW shortly after I bought my i730 and signed up for the Merits program. The pouch was horrible for the i730 because it was tight up against the screen and the send/end buttons. However, I don't think I'll have those problems with the i760. Today will be my first real test with both the i760 and the pouch. I don't think the pouch will be a permanent solution, but I'm hoping it will be okay until someone makes a custom case or holster for it.
Congrats iProb8!

I hope you enjoy your new device, you earned it.

Thanks, Mark.

BTW, the vertical case is working out pretty well. It's a bit large for the i760 in terms of width. However, the height (or, would it be length?) and the thickness are just right. In fact, it's a snug enough fit that I don't always both to snap the little strap at the top. I still don't think it will be a permanent solution (I like cases that will hold some extra memory cards), but it's working out well so far.

Amen to that, I remember that nonsense.

Seriously, be patient. How long have we waited for this device to be released, I think we can wait a few more weeks for a good case.

Brassmonkey, are you concerned about the magnetic activation? Let us know if you see the device coming on when you put it in these cases.

They look very nice, but I have avoided magnets so far.

I am using the generic slip case from BestBuy mentioned at the beginning of this thread.

No problems whatsoever! -I use it with the screen facing in (away from the magnet)...

BrassMonkey,

When you have the chance, could you post some pictures of the belt clip on the Bravo case? And maybe, if you have the time and inclination, a picture of the phone in the case?

I am seriously considering purchasing this case, and if I'm going to go for it, I may as well buy it before the phone is released.

Thanks!

Are the dimensions posted for each size for the case or are they the internal dimensions? The H5 is close, but sounds roomy.

Is the device snug or does it move around?

The belt clip has a good tight fit. It also rotates, so you can have it at any angle. I will try and post a few pics...

I have mine in a vertical slip case and can easily pull it straight out to use it, answer a call, etc.

I have not used a horizontal case like the Bravo. How easy is it to pull the device out? I am trying to imagine flipping the cover up, then grabbing the phone, but it is sideways... Do you push a corner up from the opening in the bottom?

The Boa looks cool, but I didn't see a vertical case that would fit.

I know, picky ,picky, picky.

I hope you post a picture because the Boa doesn't look that bad.. I hope you didn't get the black and white it looks like the i760 is trying to dress up in a cheap fake snake skin 70's tux hehehehe... If I where to get it I think I'd go w/the brownie brown.. I made a Louis Vuitton'ish looking one (brown and yellow/orange tan) on the Vaja case for my Raza case and everyone LOVED it... so let's get a good Brass review and pictures of that Boa when u get..

What case did you get? -I'll try to post some pics tomorrow. My camera is in the car, and I always forget to bring it in. Sadly, you people just aren't that important to me! j/k...

So, what seven did you get? Tell me all about it, man! -I'm kinda a beemer nut! I did ED for my '07 550 (toured the factory, hit a buck sixty on the autobahn, etc) it was AWESOME! -Ever tried their bikes? I'm thinking of picking up the K 1200 S...

I traded my 05 525 to a 05 745i. I love the look of the 02-05 745 over the 06-07 750. To me the 750 just looks kind of plain where as the 745 looks mean/hot/money I can't wait to pick her up.. I love the color too' but I think learning the new idrive set up will be harder than learning how to use the i760.... Brass the idrive is so much different than ours!!! and you can control like over 200 comands.. and it's this forum's fault I got it due to all this talk about 7's ... well it's an early bday gift for myself if the i760 doesn't come out on the 19th for my bday on the 20th..

Oh and the car is what i'm wrapping my i760 with hehehe... I hope the bluetooth is as good as w/the 5.. Also e60.net is a great 5 series forum if you don't know about it, I'm a member and I learned so much over the years w/my 5.

Here is a thought: The Blackberry 7130g has almost identical dimensions as the i760 -find a case for it (I found several on cases.com) and you may find a good fit-they also list the naztech Boa#3 to fit the Blackberry so it may work

-BB-4.52" x 2.17" x 0.75"(115 x 55 x 19 mm)
760-4.48" x 2.28" x 0.76"(114 x 58 x 19.3 mm)

Niiiiice! You'll have to let us know how well it syncs. -I think BMW used a different BT profile prior to '07.
