The Discount Cell Holster fit's the i760 with extended battery. I snap in the bottom of the phone first followed by the top. Good luck & happy snapping!

I just received my Naztek Cabrio Size 5 case.

Naztech Cabrio Casual Cant: 1 - Unit Price $ 34.95
Size: Cabrio 5
Color: Truly Black

Not sure if I'm going to keep it. It fits kind of tight almost too tight. The side buttons get depressed whenever I slide the phone in/out of the case. STUPID BUTTON PLACEMENT SAMSUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe it will loosen up a a tad? I do like it better than the holster in that it protects some of the screen. It does look and feel great. Not cheap looking at all. What do you think?

I also got the Cabrio. I had to take out the magnets (one on front and one on back) as they were turning on the device and rotating the screen. They are silver circular magnets that are a little tricky to get out, and you do have to cut the lining (but it is on the inside where you can't see).

Works great now. I agree that it is a little tight with the ext batt., but should loosen up over time.

So far so good...

WHAT WHAT WHAT??????????? LOL! Can you describe to me exactly how the removal is accomplished? Pictures would help me. Thanks!

P.S. my screen isn't rotating due to the case. What size Cabrio do you have?

I wound up buying one of the Naztec leather(?) cases they had in-store. The case isn't shown on the Naztech site, but is black with a cream lining and a non-swivel belt clip; the Sahara model is the closest match in terms of form factor, and I'm pretty pleased with it so far. It was marked for $29.99, I think, but they said I was eligible for a discount, so I wound up paying $18.74(?). I haven't had any problems with the magnetic closure (I prefer to use the case with the screen facing in, anyway), and it fits the i760 almost as if it was designed for it. The VZW stock code for the "Universal PDA Carrying Puch" is PDASDPCH4.
OK... well, I've been using the case on a regular basis for several days now, and I still like it. I haven't experienced any problems with the magnetic closure triggering the screen to swap orientation. Now that I've been using the case, it has stretched (I hesitate to use that word, because the fit is still superb) a tiny bit, so that it is now easier to get the phone in and out, though it's still plenty secure (by the way: I use the extended battery). All in all, I'm quite pleased with this case so far.

They did not have any "PCH4", but had a "PCH3" and "PCH5". Both are mag flap and fit extremely well. The "5" has an extremely small magnetic snap which would not catch or stay closed without extra effort, so no dice. I ended up purchasing the "3" which has the "hidden" magnet, fits well and has not produced the screen flip associated with various other cases. I am pleased.
The store where I found the PCH5 case is in southeastern Virginia, and they only had 2 or 3 of them (they also had the other 2 cases). What was interesting was that they were surprised that they had them?! This leads me to wonder if they were ordered by mistake.

Exacto knife, then pried it out. I covered the holes with tape. You would never know it looking at the case.

BE CAREFUL if anyone tries this. They are glued in, so it was a little tricky. It helps that I am a surgeon, I suppose.

You can tell exactly where they are by placing a small magnet on the outside. They are not directly across from each other.

Since it is inside the case, pix would be very hard to take clearly.

I like to have the screen facing inward for easy access and to protect the whole screen.

Whenever I put it in or pulled it out of the above case, the screen would come on or rotate (because of the magnets). Sometimes it even turned the phone radio off.

That is why I took the magnets out.

picked up the black horizontal case from pocketsolutions.com, and it's great. a little pricey and shipping took a while, but it was worth it IMO. fits *perfectly*, nice and padded, all leather, magnetic closure. i was a little put off by the PS they put on the front of it, but even that looks much better in real life than in the the pic (it is much smaller than it looks on the site).

i was a little worried about the whole magnetic closure turning the phone on issue, but i find it to be a good "feature" - i take the phone out, and i don't have to hit the power button to wake it up, the magnets on the phone do it for me.

pocketsolutions has several other really good accessories, so if you're looking at a case, i would recommend looking at other things they have and just do a one shot purchase for your stuff, save on shipping. customer service is very good on the phone, and they sell quality stuff.

i had to look at the pics for a second, but the diplomat and passport series cases (both vertical pouches) differ only in that the diplomat has a belt clip, and the passport does not.

the prestige series is the horizontal version, with a belt clip. all the rest of the puches they sell are pretty self explanatory by their pics.

also, the passport, diplomat and prestige pouches come in a wide variety of colors. like i said before, i would recommend any of the cases based on my experience with the prestige (bought the power pack too, and the cables are good quality). my shipping experience was a little hokey, but because i ordered right at the heart of the i760 release, the phone rep said they were having some supply issues because of unexpected demand. they shipped out each item separately as they got it in stock in order to get my items to me ASAP, without charging more.

I was upset because I first tried the holster with the extended battery, and it didn't really fit. It doesn't stay shouldered in to the bottom brackets.

It fits great with the standard battery, but I don't mind the way it fits with the extended battery and the screen faced in. Either way, great holster for short money, just what I wanted.

Pocketdoc, are you sure you have the same case that I have? I don't see any magnets. My case doesn't have a cover or the need for magnets as far as I can tell. Can you post a picture of your case? Is your case the Cabrio size 5 like mine? Thanks.

mrpacs, if you have a magnet, put it on the front or back near the bottom. It should stick. I pulled out two silver magnets.

Same case.

Maybe they took the hint and no longer put magnets in their cases, or I got one with magnets and you didn't.

I kind of like the looks of this horizontal case (Prestige). I got the universal PDA pouch from VZW (PCH4, I think) that's a decent fit, but the contrasting stitching is starting to get on my nerves.

How does the PS Prestige work with the extended battery? Does it remove easily, or is it a very tight fit? Thanks.
