Just to clarify, the PPCGeeks simultaneous voice/data Dial Code is Sprint specific. It does not work on VZW.
--BAM
EDIT:
On the other hand, are you sure this Sprint Dial Code enables simultaneous voice/data, or does it merely allow a call to come in while a data session is in progress--but override the data session? VZW's had this feature for a year.

Good question. Hmm I'm not sure now that you ask me..Maybe I'll ask these guys..the thing I don't get is why they seem so excited about it if it just lets them get calls which ends their data connection..The last guy is like "This is the sweetest phone ever"! Yea the Dialparser hack is pretty cool, but I can't find myself saying this is the best phone ever just because I can get a call while on data because of the hack. I wonder if AT+T using GSM has any conflicts with being able to use data and voice simultaneously.
Do we have any update on this? I'm so tired of waiting for a good new phone to come out...
I actually just wish they would come out with WM6 for the i730 and a camera to pop in the back. It is still the perfect phone/PDA hands down!
i agree. I called and they said the warehouse said Verizon told them the SGH-i760 will come out (SUPPOSEDLY) the first week of September..they keep changing the dates, but that lines up with the lines that others are giving those who want the SCH-i760.
On a side note, I've been handing out a setup guide that includes everything I have ever found from here and all over the web for the i730 for about a year now I think and I get several requests for it per week from people who have had the i730 for a while but also from many who are new owners..and that response was from just like ONE side note in a post I did at brighthand.com about the i730. If the moderators let me, I was wondering if I can open a thread in the i730 (and or i760) forum that asks how many want a camera and WM6 in their i730 instead of the SCH-i760, to see how many in this forum alone would want that..would anyone else like to see the response for it? I guess I'll try it if I don't get a direct response.
I think from how many requests for the setup guide for the i730 (over a hundred at least) alone, there could be perhaps a hundred or more who would want it? I'm trying to underestimate. Maybe if a poll was used that would give a good indication as well..Taking into account how many people are tired of waiting, don't want the i760, still love the i730, and how many have just bought the i730 from the buy one get one free, I'm hoping the number is higher..though who knows. Again if the moderators let me, I guess we can all find out.

Mark if you're going to be your immature self and make digs at me, please learn english first..you misspelled my name (it's DominiCk), and very I'm sorry to hear the news that you "fell badly". I hope you didn't have to go to the hospital and get crutches or anything. You know, there's just something a bit unnatural about how you follow me around the forum just to criticize me. Don't you have anything better to do? Gefilte Fish and Exlax dood that's all I gotta say, oh and have a great day.

I bet the rep you talked to didn't know what he was talking about. I thought the SGH was supposed to be a GSM phone for Europe and I haven't hear any other rumblings about it coming out at all aside from what you just wrote.
If anyone can get any further info on this, that would be awesome!
ok... here is another samsung phone to mess with all of our heads...
i call it the i730.5 because it looks like half of an i730... (it is actually the SGH-i620)...
sheck it out... Hands-on with Samsung's SGH-i620 WM6 slider - Engadget Mobile
it is a wm6 standard smartphone and looks like the little cousin of the SGH-i760
this may even get Dom7 excited!

SUPPOSEDLY the SCH-i760 will be announced this week to come out within the next two weeks according to FUTs and those with inside knowledge, but while it was appearing on the Microsoft site but I just checked and it seems they took it off..So who knows..The guy I talked to in regards to the SGH i760 was the guy at that Chicago store, the tech. He told me to call back in a half hour so he could talk to the warehouse at Verizon, and when I called back he just told me what they told him. He told me the same thing in regards to the SCh i760. The SGH has the GSM frequencies Europe uses, but also have the ones that AT&T and TMobile uses as well here in the US. If you do a search for the SGh-i760 you'll see LOTS of rumblings about people wanting it, with pictures and specs, but I haven't seen anything VERY recently about the SGH i760. I've also never heard a peep about this i620 midget i730 looking device either..the first time I have even heard of it. Just reporting what I heard myself. Give it one or two weeks and we may all know more.

Thanks for keeping me in mind Kinda cool how small it is, but I can just hear the complaints about how small the keyboard is. It kinda looks cheap. Do you or anyone know if its touch sensative? The SGH looks sturdy, is aesthetically pleasing, and has a good sized keyboard and (touch sensative) screen. This actually looks more like a smartphone.
yep, thats what it looks like and i think everyone else will too...
I love Apple PCs but have never been a fan of iPods, so I don't have personal experience with the wheel, but I've heard nothing but good things about it from users..kinda like the positive feedback people give about the scroll wheel from Crackberry.
I know alot of us read Engadget too, but if not, here is a new tech 730 throwback. Looks like SureType keyboard, and from HTC (with TouchFlo interface? Nice) HTC Juno? Yes! | The Boy Genius Report
And RE: i620, here is the i640, which has a bigger screen Engadget Mobile

Wow that i640 looks kinda sweet But if its Vodaphone doesn't that mean its going to be GSM, and will be a Smartphone as well, having no touchscreen?? :/ Lenny Cravitz! Why can't they just make a PDA Phone that will invite all kinds of peeps w all kinds of uses?? What the paint chip eating Verizon, Sprint, or other competitors need to do is have Samsung make the i790 be an upgrade to the i730 and SCH-i760:/, that has the SGH-i760 body, w two nice cameras one for webcam the other for pics, upgraded 3g specs, (VGA would be a nice surprise), nice amount of internal memory, external expanded memory, and make it either a RELIABLE USABLE world phone in the vein of the i830 having a intermec/Symbol type ruggedness as something one can ACTUALLY rely on and use either in the US as CDMA and GSM and overseas. Like whats the point of having a Verizon i830 when it can't even be unlocked?
All they'd need to do is make one w the cameras for everyone and one without for those in corporations (possibly making it easy for someone to take out or put a module in), and perhaps they could either make one OS that allows both out of box ease of use AND ability to tweak and hack like with WM5/WM6/2003SE OR give people an option on what OS they want in it..like Microsoft has Home and Corp versions of XP. The ONE OS that allows out of box ease of use AND tweaking seems like the best choice..if iPhone can make it easy to use by giving you what you really need and want in the device then so can Microsoft..one would like to think? I LOVE that vertical QWERTY keyboard!
The Juno one looks pretty cool except when you do a search for it it seems there confusion on which phone that really is..or if it will infact come w a vertical or horizontal keyboard.
