John

The i730 doesn't come w HD support, but the Treo Hack (which I linked to in the i730 thread which works on the i760 as well to get their SDHC Micro SD Cards to work) works in it and I've gotten 5 GBs use out of my 8GB SDHC on my i730.

Any word on if this worked or not? I'd like to hope that the i760 will be able to take full advantage of an 8 or 6 gig card unlike the i730 that loses part of the card...

No luck so far on the i760. There are newer drivers that allow my XV6700 to use the 6GB microSDHC card to full capacity, but loading these same drivers on to the i760 make sd not function at all...

Anyone know of the current best deal on 4GB microSDHC cards?

Saw this over at slickdeals:
Sandisk 4GB microSDHC card $40.95 + $8.95 ship - SlickDeals.net Forums

but it says it expired sept 1st and that site is crappy, you wont see if you got the rebate until you already submitted the order...

Did you try using the SDHC hack I posted in the i730 forum, which I got from nemanracer? As I understand it it won't work without a hack/firmware.

By hack/firmware I mean the same thing you would be downloading namely the "SDHC Hack" that nemanracer and I posted or else a newer one I don't know about that actually lets you use more than 4GB or 5GBs of your 6GB-8GB Card. Firmware is basically the updated software that is either installed or flashed on to your device and is what the manufacturer is supposed to release, or at least something you'd want them to release for your device. The hack was taken out of another device that had the firmware/driver support needed to get SDHC working.

Hmm, do you know of any other drivers that may allows full use of the card on the i760/i730 yet? Thanks.

I have been unsuccessful ordering the phone today, so I figured I would go ahead and get my microSd card on it's way.

I ordered the Sandisk 4GB MicroSDHC SDSDQ-4096-E11M from Amazon for $47. I am hopeful that it will work. I am comfortable applying whatever hacks need to be done. I have been loading them since the i700 days through the i730...

Me too, excellent find. Kind of rediculous to release the device without the High Capacity drivers in the first place.

Another vote for finding out if the 4gb or 6gb sdhc versions work. I want to order the 6GB so it gets here on Tuesday. Anyone confirm this works? Maybe with a screenshot showing the card capacity?
