All set. Just uninformed. I placed loose via file explorer, then located the .cab with search function on the device, and clicked when located. The installation starts fine. It only recognizes 3.686 gb out of teh 8gb card after soft reset. Will there be another update to recognize the balance? or wasted $$ on a chip.

People are hoping that someone can rip the SDHC drivers out of the i780 or another device to see if that will help..but who knows man..The i730 I have can get 5GBs of use out of the 8GB SD Card I have, where most can only get 4GBs out of any other card...and the Adata 4GB Card that people have gotten for it was SDHC yet worked with no drivers in the i730..I don't get it myself. All I know is people were saying we should just give up on the hope of SDHC working in these devices, someone ripped a driver out of some device, got it working, and since then it works at least up to 4-5GBs in SD and Mini SD Cards.
What class version of SDHC cards are people using? Anyone have a 4gb microSDHC class 6 cards? Any issues with having a higher class card on a i760 with the hack?
Hi I got my I760 today and also I have the 4gb card from sandisk but when I insert the card into the I 760 it say no memory card installed how do I get to reconize the card. Please help me.

Thanks for the easy instructions. I now have 3.8GB of music on my SCH-I760. Awesome! I'm using AData microSDHC for $35 from Frys with a $15 mail in rebate. Lifetime warranty... Sweet.
The only drawback to this phone so far is no mini-usb port. Lame! I don't like the propietary samsung adapter thing. Where's my Brie or sharp cheddar or roquefort or....?
just ordered the adata 4gb micro sdhc from newegg(as well as a hot sync cable from pocket solutions)... anyone who has the adata still satisfied? I know several of you said they were working great, but just wondering if you've had problems since.
now if I can just sell my i730 accessories to help pay for the costs....

I just picked up my new i760 yesterday. I think I'm going to sell my i730 on eBay. If anyone is interested, let me know. It's in good shape, has two desktop chargers, 3 batteries, and many more extras.
Anyway, I purchased the 4 GIG Micro SD Card and put it in my phone. It doesn't even show up under File Explorer. So then I took the card and put it in my laptop. It doesn't show up there either. However, my wife's card is a 2 GIG and it showed up with no problem. Yup, she got the same phone; her first PDA.
Do I have a card problem or is there a hack to address this issue? If so, please send me in the right direction. Also, if there is a hack for this issue, will this address the problem with my laptop not showing the card and/or reading the card? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well, after an hour of searching, I was able to find the hack. The card works in the phone GREAT, but does not register when I plug into my Toshiba Laptop. Does anyone have a suggestion?
You must have a reader capable of reading SDHC cards. I had the same problem till I got the Sandisk MobileMate SD+ reader. Search Google Shopping for ... "SDDR-104-A11M". They're about $10 plus shipping on the web or about $20 locally.

The toshiba built in reader can not read any card over 2 gig.
