Equus - A question (not to take off this subject of the FTC, Broadcom, etc..)
Real simple: Do the i730 electrical plug, docking cradle (or whatever that stupid designed is), and other accessories in the i760?
Thanks,
John
Nope...all I recvd was the USB cable and not a cradle and my old i730 cable didn't work on it........reconfigured pins due to WM6 and charge capability with USB while plugged into PC.. I had a hard time syncing with Vista. I recommend DONOT use Vista on i760 till MS gets their heads out of "the sand pits".......sorry for that rant. As long as you all still have WIN XP you are fine, hope you all don't switch to Vista. I don't want to turn this thread into Vista bashing

Not even an electrical plug...just a USB cable? That really stinks. This is going to cost me a lot of money. I want a docking cradle (sucks as it does), an electrical plug, car charger, and I want 2 of everything to keep in my laptop bag. Man, this is going to be expensive. Not to mention the 4GB microSD. I am thinking a mortgage now. Hopefully, Dan's Cellular on eBay might have some of this stuff.
Do you get just 1 battery also?
John

Yes . But my problem is that I have 5 PC's that are on WIN XP Pro and ONE on Vista. All our work PC's are still WIN XP Pro and we are not planning to migrate to Vista any time now. I had a problem AFTER I synced with Vista going to XP, crashed my PDA and had to do a hard reset. Same would happen IF I went from XP to Vista. Besides I don't appreciate "brother billy" asking me everytime did I pay for this software I am using today?

Keep in mind that his is a test phone, we don't know what the retail package will include.
OMG, you beat me to it............. I have NO clue what the retail unit will have. IF I were to look back at Samsung's history they have traditionally included an extended battery, standard battery, cradle, usb cable and a wall charger. So just maybe they are doing this again

I completely agree with KBAM's analysis, assuming the PC Magazine article is accurate and once you throw in the additional inventory necessary to cover dangerous' returns.
I concur...LOL...Dangerous you out there to defend yourself!

Since everyone here is most likely going to buy the i760 and from reading it seems that everyone owns the i730, I figured some people would be looking to sell their i730. I am looking to buy an i730, so if you want to sell email me at blazeralb@yahoo.com. Thanks!

I'm still leaning towards the 6800.
If the i760 is a lot smaller in the hand, it may win.
I'll be waiting for everyone to us them a while and see what everyone says.
i completely understand that the 6800 and the 8525 are not the same but they do have similar characteristics. i had the opportunity to setup an 8525 for someone and i did not like it at all (compared to the i730 - yes, i am biased!). i do feel that the 6800 and the 8525 share the htc family genes and the 6800 will have a similar, thinner feel which will obviously make it better than the 8525.
bam, i thought the 8525 and the 6700 were similar in size/weight but the 8525 felt better because it was rounder and had a more "modern" feel to it.
the i760 (and the upcoming smt5800/libra) have the best design/layouts of any units coming to market (my own lousy opinion!) so therefore i am extremely biased towards anything coming out with a number pad AND qwerty board.
all, please remember these comments are coming from an i730 and now moto Q user so ANYTHING feels huge compared to the Q!!!
