I've PAID $700 for my i700 and i730, and the i700 sits here collecting dust like my i730 will when I buy the i760. However, it's obvious this is the device for me.

I think it's great seeing all of the users from the i700 era that moved to the i730, now looking at the i760.
I have been happy with my Samsung devices.
I am excited for the release...

For what it is worth, the i830 is no longer showing on the Verizon website. Man, what I wouldn't give to know price point and release date right now...
looks like they are slashin prices on all PDA/Smartphones! The Q is now $149.99 and $179.99 (black)! ....dang those suckers are thin (0.45")!! ...I'm not sure if this means anything or not. Q users arent really 760 users... I cant wait any longer!! Pathetic really...I feel like one of those dudes waiting in line to see Lord of the Rings... :mikey:
Gotta love Sammy. They put out cool phones, and now they have broken the 8GB barrier for microSD. Don't go crazy yet, it won't be out until this time next year. Here is the article from engadget:
I'm actually responding to this from my Q. I'm learning the hard way (as I buy for our company) that Verizon prices are inconsistent and volitale. At one point I was paying $79 each for silver Qs. I was just complaining to our rep about it Monday.
Dang, just spent $200 each for 2 yesterday. Better ask for credit back.
There's one way to find out. If there's a brave soul among us, he/she could read through the Old i730 rumor/release thread.
This is my first post to this thread and I hope it is informational. I am preparing to get my first pda phone (i760) and have been following the forum regularly. I figured that I could contribute and check the i730 thread and try and put together the timeline:
5/13/05 - Last post of i700 being sold out on VZW site
5/16/05 - VZW officially announces i730, summer release time frame
5/24/05 - VZW posts "Coming Soon" advert. on site for i730, gives 5/24 (B2B) and 7/7 (Cons.) as release dates
5/31/05 - i700 removed from VZW site
6/09/05 - Pre-release i730's received
6/23/05 - B2B customers and other savvy users begin to place orders for i730 with B2B reps and some retail and telephone reps
It seems to me that we have moved past 1 to 4 and have skipped 2 and 3. I have no idea if this means anything, but I hope this is useful.

When I log into VZW's website, it's not even showing the i730 as available for purchase, and I'm in Arizona.
I'm going to be in Chicago between May 26 and June 2 so I figure that, with my luck, the i760 will be released during that week.
