Anyone else notice that one the samsung website, it shows the i760 as only supporting the old micro sd's (not HC's) meaning a limit of 2gb? I was under the impression it would support the new Micro SDHC's meaning a limit of up to 32 gigs when the cards finally reach that point. That may be a breaking point. This phone already has enough "old" technology in it, if this is truly the case, I'm done waiting for this one and moving on.
in one of the other forums (I am not sure which one it is) this is discussed and there is a fix.
I downloaded the patch for my treo700wx and I am now using the 4gig Micro SDHC card on it with no problem so this should not be an issue for your desire to purchase this phone.
The name of the file is SDHC and is run directly from the phone (cab file),
Man, at this rate Apple will have the Exchange connector out of beta before the i760 hits.
I'm sure activesync for the iPhone would be crippled....kinda like the Symbian activsync....even if it wasn't, it's still AT&T and it's still EDGE....
I had the iPhone for a week...amazing interface, but i couldn't get past how bad at&t was, and how horrible EDGE was....and how limited the OS was, compared to WinMo...I hope the interface is a sign of things to come for the WinMo platform.
This was discussed once before, and if you search the first rumor thread you will find more information on it, but it's thought to be one with camera, one without camera, but Verizon will most likely carry the one with.
Anyway, if you want to hear everyone else's thoughts, just search the first rumor thread...

oh ok, though i would get a quicker response through asking then digging through 5millions posts. thank you
My B2B rep also confirmed today that it looks like a go for the 19th, happy b-day to me. He said he should be able to order the 18th for 19th delivery. Up until now he's just been telling me the end of Oct. so I wouldn't get my hopes up, it's the first time he's been willing to give me a hard date.
13 days till order 14 till my wife is left alone with the kids as I am lost to the i760 ...
Have your wife call my wife. They can get together with the kids and distract themselves while we explore the i760. Last night I got "the lecture" about playing with my phone so much.

Well... isn't this interesting? I am soooooooo frustrated now. I just received a call on my 730, and it was from some Verizon Executive office in North Carolina. Let me preface- I didn't hear the phone call coming in because of ringer problems already mentioned in the forum. GRRRRRR!
Anyways, it was in response to my asking about the holdup in the 760.
I don't know if they were responding because... I sent an email to that Mike Lanman at Verizon ( pleasant, but direct, and a bit of a plea) or the day before, I filled in an FCC complaint form. Of course I referred to the lack of new phones, and that I didn't want to lose my NE2 because I purchased the phone in July of 05. In my email to Mike Lanman, I didn't list my cell phone number- just a home address, and of course my email address. My FCC form might have listed the cell phone number- probably did. I am stressing this because, the call came to my cell phone, and not home, office phones, or email.
The phone message that was left from a Tricia something-- can't make it out- said... she was calling in regard to my email... hm.... (thinking it is probably from the FCC report.) She said she was sorry for the delay, and it was due to a testing process, and there were some security issues on the network HUH?????
She did leave a phone number, but by the time I got the message on the cell phone- I got a recording, and I left my office number for her to return the call. We will see if this happens. This is all very strange.
BTW- as I live in NYC, I have been bombarding every Verizon store- NADA.
If I hear from this woman from Verizon again, I will report back. Here's hoping they take pity on me! ahahahha
This is what i got from my B2B. Ripping my hair out.

Hi, I was refereed by XXXXXXXXXX to speak to you about the Samsung SCH-i760. Is it true that it is coming out the 19th? If so can I sign up to receive this phone when it’s available? I know I still have my ne2 still available to use. My mobile number is 917-XXX-XXX. Any info would be great and much appreciated.

You guys were all using a wrong email address for Mr Mike, so most likely the call was due to the FCC complaint.
So, what is the right address? The emails did not bounce back.
