I guarantee the Samsung i760 be out by Oct 5th, Oct 19th OR by Dec 31, 2010. Just hang in there. I'll never been wrong about a prediction before.

Neither can see the phone in the system (Both have access to VZW Intranet). They are being tight lipped because of the 40+ who got the early release.
If you want to be upset, be upset at those who circumvented the system between 9/14-9/18; as they are directly correlated with the "EXTRA" delay.
As for me ... I will wait until one of the above mentioned parties confirms it is on the system, before I get happy about ANY DATE.
It is in their system, i know as a Matter of Fact. There is inventory, and can be ordered. the employees are under strict orders not to place anymore orders.

I was referring to a phone's release date being in the system...
Thus the ending "I will wait until one of the above mentioned parties confirms it is on the system, before I get happy about ANY DATE."

Is the release worth the wait?

Since we are all waiting anyway, and a select few have already received the 760, any news from them on how it is working? Lock ups, hang ups, etc. This may not be the perfect venue for this, but if it is not worth the wait then we should be looking elsewhere for guidance and a new ShangriLa of PDAs.

Regards,

DA

Umm there's lots of threads about what the people who got it already think of it.

WTF? If VZW spent as much time on releasing phones as they do on gimmicky web junk, we'd all have i760's in our hands right now.

I'm wondering even if it is released tomorrow how clogged their phone lines will be with people running all over all of the released phones.

Perhaps the emperor has no clothing and is hiding behind a flood of other crappy devices?

Looks like the Z6TV may be here as well. hmmmm. this is a Cluster****

You know, the spotlight moves across the phones and highlights the timer. When that timer is gone, there is room for another phone in that image.

Interesting that they're hosting it at Akamai, they're planning a lot of hits.

This is kind of fun.

1. Clear your cookies from your browser. (If you have firefox then just go to "tools", "clear private data", [make sure you have the "cookies" box checked] and then click "clear private data now".) (I'm sure that explanation was completely unnecessary, but just in case)

2. Go to testman.verizonwireless.com

3. Look at the very first ad that pops up. (its that shadowed ad uncovered)

4. Laugh at all the phones that we don't want / care about.

No rumor about the 760 but funny since we've all been talking about that ad.

ONLY 10 h: 47m: 23s: 21ms

.....until we all get let down

Funny, I was just about to post that I went to the testman site and the first thing that popped up was about the Juke, the Pearl, and the other two phones scheduled to be released tomorrow.

Now, here's something just as bizarre. If you're on the testman site and list PDA Phones, it shows the Q Black and Q9M as being "out of stock."

Question more CSR info

I guess back when the first group was released I called 611 and tried to get in on the front end of the release...no such luck!

However, the CSR said she would call me when the i760 would be released for all...Take it with a grain of salt, but she called me today, and said that it would be released tomorrow.

This is my first and only "It'll be out on blah, blah day" statement.

I hope we'll all be able to have an i760 in hand by the weekend!

Looking foward to iProb8's birthday!
???Oct 3, 2007???

I posted this over at HOFO earlier today but the funny thing about the Testman site is that the original Chocolate is set as a pre-order phone as well as a few that have been on the site for a while now.

Not sure how much faith i have with Testman anymore (although it did post the q9 about a week early).
