East/West

Seems like most of the success has been located far west of the mighty Mississippi, perhaps simply because of the timing of when all this broke yesterday (B2B reps being gone for the day in the East). I have a call in to our B2B rep (Virginia), but haven't heard back yet.

Anybody successfully placed an order yet from the East?

Ordered this morning. I am in the midwest, and called customer service and explained the sku and my waiting, and she put me on hold and came back in 5 minutes and told me she could place my order right away!

I did pay $19 extra for Saturday shipping before 12pm...

How happy was I last when I saw that the i760 dropped....

Anyhow, I have been trying all morning and am having no luck, can somebody with a cooperative business rep PM me...unfortunately I missed BrassMonkey's list. I am in Maryland if that matters.

Thanks for any help.

I just used normal CSR, no corporate account needed... She did have to get permission from her supervisor to place the order though.

I'm on the East Coast, and have struck out both with 611, and when I called the B2B number. Both reps did some digging, but were unable to sell me the phone.

Could the next person that manages to place an order through 611 or B2B please post the phone number, extension number, and name of the rep that helped them?

Thanks.

Is it possible to call customer service on the west coast to order this if you live East of the Mississippi?

Cool

Well I am on the phone now with *611 and placing my order for the SCHi-760, belt clip and car charger. My wife is going to kill me that I spent $600.00 but hell she'll get over it.

Anyways, it is being shipped over night and will be here tomorrow. Oh and to answer all the questions on the east coast. I am in South Florida so, yup you can get them on the east coast too. Took 3 different sales reps but one finally placed the order for me!

Got to love the sales rep that wants the commisson...GO Tanisha!!!!

Good luck all...god I can finally go to sleep!

Not true. I live in Chicago. Just dialed *611 and told a very nice CSR to look it up by the SKU and she found it immediately, although it was not on her equiptment list.

She said the priced showed as $499.99. My last upgrade was this January, so I do not qualify for discounted pricing she said. I said would it help if I gave her my VZW Merits program #, and she said yes they could do early upgrade for $399.99, even though it really only extends my contract by 9 months. No data discount, since I already have a data plan.

Then I gave the SKU#s for the cradle and the vehicle charger and she ordered those too, including my 25% discount on accessories from the Merits program. She did note that this program is only grandfathered for exisitng customers now. Then I said can you get it here to my house tomorrow morning and she said yes Fedex overnight for $12.99 will guarantee it tomorrow moring. It just depends who you get.

So total damage = $499.99 - $100.00 9 mo. extension + $39.99 cradle - $10 discount + $29.99 car charger - $7.50 discount + $12.99 shipping = $500.52

I'm jacked up man!!!

Edit: It seems to be a regional thing. Any northeast customers able to order through b2b or through a CSR?

I also called to order via the standard customer service line. (maybe)

My B2B rep is still saying not available.

Was quoted the 2Yr contract cost of $399 -$100 AD credit and of course the vaunted $50 MIR for a total of $249.00 AR.

The reason I say maybe is that she is currently obtaining permission to ship the device and is calling me back.

EDIT FOR LOCATION: I am in the greater Nashville area.

I'm in Texas, and just had success ordering the i760. After 4 failed attempts last night through *611, I tried again this morning. This time the CSR was able to pull it up by SKU but was very confused and worried about all of this and why it didn't come up in her normal inventory. I talked to her in a very nice, calming voice, told her my i730 was broken and useless (it is), and she proceeded to place the order. She did put me on hold for about 8 minutes, so no telling what she did or who she talked to during that time.

Final price: $432.99 (including tax) + $21.64 overnight shipping+tax.

Total transaction time: 18 minutes, 22 seconds.

We'll see if it shows up tomorrow as expected.

Ok so Im quite jealous that everyone is getting the phone cheaper then me because of the $100 data rebate and $100 NE2 but hell I will be the only person in Florida with this phone for a few days so that makes me feel comfortable.

Enjoy everyone..now I am really going to sleep
