It looks like some people are having luck calling in direct now too.

This thing is a phone? **** almost forgot! hah j/k

The phone part is great so far. For me personally it seems clearer then my i730. Haven't used the speakerphone in a call yet, but it is loud. Feels more like a phone against my ear then a brick now too which is a huge plus for me.

I'm regular, i ordered it. I kept getting put on hold as the rep was figuring out how to get me the phone. it probably depends on the skills or rank of the customer service person. I wonder why some get through and others don't. Weirdest "launch" ever.

I have called in 6 times, with the same response, we can't find it. Even got the same rep twice (tell me the likelyhood of that happening...). 3 of them have received calls asking about the i760 and knew about it, 2 didn't know anything about it, or haven't received calls. I am going to try and get a hold of a business rep tomorrow. I wish Ethan was available, but he's "unavailable" this week...

Well guess it doesn't matter tonight or tomorrow... It still won't be here until Monday....

I dont think so... he is the national accounts manager, so he should be able to help everyone. I will post as soon as I know for sure!

I don't know how you guys where able to get it from *611 I called 4 times first rep was very nice she couldn't find it I gave her the sku # and she put me on hold a few times then she said let me try one more thing she called tech. support then came back and was like "I see the phone now" and she was like "I'm going to get me one of those!!!" but said it showed none in inventory and that there was no price along w/it .. The next person was Rodney he was BAD.. he gave me an attitude right from the start and I was like the last girl that helped me had a hard time finding it, it took her like 30 min and he was like "It's not going to take me that long because if I can't find it we don't have it" I was like do you want the sku # and he was like "What do I need that for?" then I called again and the agent just kept telling me there was no such phone, didn't exsist.. I was like I don't want to fight w/U I just want a phone and she was like I work for Verizon I think I would know before you if there was such a phone I was like OK if you say so, but one of your agents found it and it's on the Samsung page w/Verizon labeled on it and she still kept going how I don't know what I'm talking about and even though there is a verizon sign on some web site that doesn't mean anything... then she threw in "did the last person tell you u went over on your texts by 1400?" I was like no but that was last month and I paid the extra $100 but thanks for reminding me and she said well have a nice day" the last guy I was right off the bat do u know about the i760 and he was like "I sure do!!!" and I was like Thank G@d (don't want to start the religion thing again!) and I told him how some of u guys where able to order it and he was like no way that it's going to get to there shipping and they won't be getting anything and I was like they gave there CC #'s and everything and he was like still they won't get charged if the phone isn't shipped out which it won't.. I said thank you and I threw in the towel...... I hope BrassMonkey will be able to get me the phone. I'm going on vacation early Saturday for a week and it will be nice to come home to a new phone
oh 1 question will my USB charger (car and desk charger) for my Razor work on this phone? I'm betting NO but it was worth a shot to ask

I just ordered my phone. Should be here my Monday or no later than Tuesday. I got it thru Customer Services at first the rep. couldn't find it put me on hold and then i gave her the sku# and even she was suprised that it was there. She said that it was 299.99 before tax and that was with a new 2 year contract. Thank you BrassMonkey and Crafty for all your help.

I'll keep adding names for the next few hours (it's taking forever because the server keeps freezing) -until 12A MST. After that I will email the list to our rep.

Unfortunately, I will be traveling tomorrow, so I wont be able to check in here much, if at all. I'm sure if our rep can help everyone out, he will (commission is a beautiful thing!). I will post in the morning after I speak to him on whether or not you can be out of market for him to help. -Because he is a "national accounts" manager, I think we should be good.

how in the world did we all (except crafty) miss this?

Looks like all i730 will want to know the following:

- is the headset jack same odd size as the i730?

- will the i730 car charger work with it?

- and how does it really compare with the i730 - sound, feel, etc.

- and does it really feel like an upgrade 2yrs in making?

Could one of the lucky i760 owners answer some of these question?
