While there is no IR, I wonder if there is RF remote control capabiltiies. Most devices have moved away from IR and switched to RF so it would make sense that Samsung has RF remote control. According to previous posts, remote control is still listed as a feature.

Unbelievable! How did we not see this coming today or have any advanced notice/concrete rumors? (No offense Crafty - even your post on the 10th didn't sound too sure. Congratulations!)

I see no remote control app built in. I need to check out the manual/cd's.

Picsel Browser is there though. 1.0.5

Anyone know what "D-Day" app is?

Now I know you really have one, cause the VZW6800 Get Applications link does the same thing.

An action shot of clicking Get applications resulting in the 404 is a GREAT idea!! hahahahhaha

Oh damn I'm going to have to do that now. Give me awhile I need to eat before I keel over.

Thanks Crafty, I just ordered mine from B2B! At first he couldnt find it, but after I called back with the SKU we were good to go! After all discounts it was $299 plus a $50 mail-in rebate that will come with the phone. He couldnt find any accessories in the system yet (I bet if we SKU's for everything we could order now!?).

Our rep is the national accounts manager and he was "embarrassed" I had to give HIM the SKU! Their secrecy breeds incompetence.

Thanks again and HUGE props to Crafty!!!

How does the phone FEEL in your hand? Is it solid or does it have the cheap plastic "Q" Feeling?

I just got off the phone with the customer service tring to order the phone. NO LUCK! I gave them the SKU number and still could not find it. I am not a B2B customer. Any other advice I could try to tell the customer service people so I can get one ordered?
