While you are waiting for it to charge, care to measue the screen size so I can order a screen protector now that I can see this phone is real?

Every one of you folks honestly should get a FAT CHECK in the mail from VZN for your loyalty to them and the time you've spent waiting for the i760!

I thought I was a patient person, but I just couldn't take the wait anymore and decided to jump ship to the world of UNLOCKED GSM phones (AT&T Wireless)!

On the other hand, you all have "The Patience of Job"!
(...read the entire book of Job in the Bible if you don't know I mean)

To continue waiting for a phone that's losing value almost daily as other phones are being released all around it is mind-boggling.

I sure hope so. Didn't someone say retail release is usually 2 weeks after B2B release?

that's what i've heard. so that would definitely put it in line with the week of the 24th or the first week of October at the latest.

You guys really need measurements? If so what kind? vertical? Horizontal? Diag? Thought those specs were known. Not bad for 299$ so far(after discounts). Form factor feels so much better then my i730.

I've been a lurker here since long before the i730 was finally released. I've gained invaluable knowledge from many of you. And thanks to Mrailing, I was able to make my 730 last a little longer than I would have been able to without his invaluable guide.

I work for a very large company with a national account with Verizon. We have many, many PDAs, most of which are Treos with the exception of the technology workers which are mostly i730s. We have been waiting anxiously like the rest of you for the real replacement for this phone.

So I would like this to be a real "contribution" to the group, rather than just a rumor that won't ever come to be a reality. But my account rep just emailed me to say that the i760 is forthcoming, and, according to what he just sent me 30 minutes ago, it will be firmware upgradeable to Rev. A very quickly, if not immediately.

Again, rumor, but at least a positive one.
