On the TyTN, when WM6 came out, the microSD started to support the microSDHC. It is possible that this is an operating system driver and not a hardware constraint.

The i760 uses micro SD not SD so you'll need to change card types. So far as I know there is no definitive answer as to whether or not it'll support SDHC. I think one can assume it would but as w/ anything until final specs are out we wont know for sure.
Yes it did support it

Funny it worked.....the last time!!Now I am not sure what was working before they put a hole in my head!!!!
The i760 is on the VZW Employee Equipment guide (it's hidden, but I did manage to get a few print-outs of it) They haven't yet uploaded the photos of the device, but the user manual is there as well as the features pricing still says $99.999.

Equus: I realized the 760 likely used a microSD card, given all the info out there. What I didn't know is whether, if I purchase a 4G microSD card 'today' (so it'll obviously be the sdhc format), it'd work correctly in the 760 whenever it comes out. Hope my question isn't too convoluted. It's just that as things converge & the 760 might be getting closer to order / obtain, I wanted to be ready w/a microSD of the size I need.
So you're saying it (a) supports microSD & (b) the sdhc format? So that means I could go ahead and purchase the 4G microSD sdhc format card?
Thanks & appreciate your patience in answering such questions. Helps some of us who have been waiting for 'so long' (whatever that means) who intend to jump asap.
Why the 4G? So I can stuff IGuidance 3.x into it & use that along with other software I'm normally accustomed to using. I need IG available really soon after switching given the travel I do. My last trip (a few days ago), IG took me thru a bunch of back roads I'd never been on. Got where I needed to tho. I took a different route back, one provided by Microsoft S and T. About the same trip time but not nearly as pretty. Always nice to combine a little siteseeing with business.

Yep, exactly right. I caught them as they were updating it. They added the piksal(I know I spelled it wrong) browser. Unfortunately, it looks like they've disabled it as a web browser (which actually competed with the iPhone's browser (zooming and full website view) and only enabled it to view documents and zip files. I hope someone can work around that. It's an awesome browser.
The only problem is that you and maybe 10 other people think the SGH i760 looks nice........lol..........
Not a problem at all actually...Mark...try a google or yahoo search for SGH-i760 and you'll see in virtually every post that has any comments, the majority say they think the SCH-i760 looks ugly and the SGH-i760 looks beautiful not just nice. I don't really know why you act all constipated with all your snide remarks, but if you check out what I'm saying instead of look down at me from your on high coffee cup, you'll see I'm not the only one on the web that says that.

I think that's what they did with the 700w too - i.e. disabled the internet browser function.
