There hasn't been any major discussions about it, but it's been casually mentioned. I think there is a new thread started about it in the General Discussion area here:

The 760 will be out in March ...
The check's in the mail ...
I didn't get that voicemail ...
The read receipt box didn't show on that email ...
j/k ... skeptical but anxious
Like I said...Like we all said... It will eventually come. Don't expect WM6 (just like we didn't get WM5 on the i730). As the saying goes, "Your patience will be rewarded". Until then, we can still enjoy out i730s

Last I heard release date was March 19th just after the March 14th release date of the 5800 (Libra) and 6800 (Titan). The 6800 is already on our FRU order list so its coming soon.
I will be using my Meritz program to update as early as I need, but I agree, my normal NE2 is up on 4/26/07, but I should be able to do it right away, so as soon as the i760 hits, I will be ordering it...

I wonder if we can locate the girls that were selling the 730 when it came out. I got a great price on it, and somewhere in all the paperwork shuffle, I never signed a new contract. According to Verizon, my NE2 has been available for about a year now. I'm ready...IF the phone is actually an upgrade.
It won't let me join the Merits program. I assume it's because I am a Business customer. Would that be accurate?
Read the discussion thread I posted, lots of information in there, and that's where you want to ask questions, and keep this on topic about the i760 upgrade. I mentioned it for those that didn't know in the hopes that they might be able to get the upgrade, or remind those that they have it, if they got signed up. You can find many answers in that Merits thread.

For those who's ne2 isn't up but want to upgrade now:
When I bought my wife's phone, I wasn't due for a discount, even on the merits program (BTW, when I tried to sign up for merits online it said I wasn't eligible, I had to call to get accepted. Anyone who gets rejected online may want to call & talk to an actual human). I think I was two months shy. They let me have the discounted price as long as I extended my contract from the time my merits discount would've kicked in. So instead of a 24 month extension, it was 26. I don't know if this is company policy, but they did it for me. It's worth asking about. It can be done.
