They did not have enough time to totally cripple them and what they crippled, they found out people could bypass and restore them to their original design. What else could it be after all these months of slip, slip, slip?

What do they have to gain by holding back on these items?

Obviously you guys just don't understand how important, actually, how crucial Get It Now is to these phones, and how it needs to work flawlessly to maximize the satisfaction for business accounts.
When I say Get It Now, I am talking about the phone, not the "added-value" crapola I can get for free through "the Network".

i would not be shocked at all now if vzw releases the q9m and the xv5800 before the i760 and even the xv6800. it now seems like there is more positive info about those 2 devices right now - yes, it is just one days news, but one day is an eternity on the i760 release/rumor thread!
Remember, take what you hear with a grain of salt. Man you all get upset over the smallest things. Verizon owes us nothing, they haven't announced anything about these phones to the general public, and this is EXACTLY why they don't until they are ready to release.
Keep in mind this device was NEVER meant for release in January, it was slated for a March-May release and did get pushed back when issues arose.
This is one of the big reasons I hate these threads, rumors rumors rumors. Take a chill people, it will be here when it gets here... and there is NOTHING any of us can do except wait, or move on.
Why should Verizon worry about losing customers over a device they have never publicly said even existed? If you want to jump ship, then do so, no reason to post and threaten here, this isn't a direct link to Verizon. If you are frustrated tell Verizon yourself. Many of us here don't like reading that you are threating to go to Sprint, AT&T, or T-Mobile, just go make the move... I for one am tired of the complaining about the device, talk about the good stuff, and wait patiently for the i760 or go ahead and make the switch...

With all due respect Michael....I think most people on this thread are complaining about the lack of a robust PDAPhone lineup. we take it out on the 760, but it really comes down to that. Also, all the while the other carriers are pumping out newer devices (WM6..etc)..and Verizon is still sitting on the next gen devices.
So I hear ya though...enough complaining..I just wanted to clear that point up.

thanks.
As one of the complainers, I have to agree with Michael. You are right as well, but Michael is saying that our comments belong in a different place than this particular thread. I, for one, plan to respect his request.

he stated that the people who jumped are probably tech junkies who don't care about the networks they are on such as T-Mobile and Sprint.
I just don't get the issue here? We should all start a fund in order to have all VZW management's collective head removed from their BUM!
My experience is that here in Hawaii Sprint typically gets one or two more bars than VZW ... and substantially better data throughput … and has had Rev A. up since April … and had EVDO running for at least a year before VZW did … and cost about half as much ... and has a WM 06 phone available ... and ...
So who is it that “don't care about the networks”?
Now if Sprint only cared just a little about Customer Support, all would be roses.

Yup, your at least the 11th to post it, but better to have it posted, than it going by without knowing.
Thanks for the update. Haven't seen you around, everything ok (you can PM me if you want as to not get off topic)?

Agreed. I hope you enforce this by moving the (future) offending posts.
I second this! I hate having to read page after page of new posts everyday only to learn that some data/store rep somewhere might have said it would be delayed/wont have rev A and then have to read four to five pages worth of posts complaining about how bad verizon sucks/how well sprint and or at&t work in (insert your town here)!!!
Mods, please quit threatening and start deleting all of this off topic rubbish (starting with this one)! -Think of how much time it would save to only have to read a page or two each day to see what is actually newly rumored!!
figured it was posted but at least i was on topic! haha
i only check this site about 2-3 times a week now and when i read this thread its usually way off topic so i dont catch any real updates on the phone just everyones complaints of the wait, etc.
mrailing, ive pretty much stripped my i730 of all apps now and it runs better. its weird. like my phone will start acting all buggy (freezing up on me) and ill uninstall an app and then reinstall it and then it works like gold for awhile. ive also noticed that switching to the oem extended battery seems to have lessened my problems on my i730 now.
alas, waiting for the i760 still, at least now ive had ample time to save up enough money to justify buying it.
Has anyone seen this PDAlist | PDAdb.net
last week the Samsung SCH-i760 was in there and now its not. When i look up the phone it says September. I hope its wrong.
